  • "It is an amazing cottage in the such nice and quite location, that is perfect if you want to hide away from the big city."

Or just simply if you need to explore beautiful Sperrin landscape area. Cottage is well equipped, kitchen has it all, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, retro but fully functional and clean oven. During our stay we found a lot of spices, dry food, even serial so more than enough for your late quick bite or morning snack before you go to the shop. Even the starter pack for the fireplace. It was just absolutely amazing. Not far from the cottage there is a Gortin Glen forest park, that I highly recommend to visit and Gortin Lakes.

  • "Beautiful cottage , amazing location."

My three girls loved the house. Would definitely return, lots of toys/board games to keep them busy, along with the land! Stunning animals nearby. Large rooms, 2 living rooms. All kitchen equipped. Overall very clean, few bits and bobs but nothing to shout about. Would definitely want to rebook when we return in may.

  • "Great place, great location."

Plenty of hiking places and right in the midst of giant statues we did not know existed! Would recommend that the owner provide information about the house facilities.

  • "I would happily stay here again, the cottage was comfortable and homely."

The cottage was well equipped and the surrounding area is beautiful. Plenty of places to walk the dog or go for a swim at Gortin Glen lakes, there's a lovely cafe in Gortin and Omagh is great for a shopping trip.

  • "We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable cottage located in a very tranquil peaceful area a short drive from the village of Gortin."

This village is well provided with facilities such as 2 supermarkets, an excellent coffee shop (the Auld Bank) and a quality clothes shop (the Auld Forge). Walks available at Gortin Lakes (shortish walks) and Gortin Glen Forest Park (longer walks). At the cottage, we were disappointed to find that both lightbulbs in the kitchen were out of order and we had to buy replacements the next day. Despite this, we would stay there again.

Thank you for your kind words about Buninver rad, we were sorry to hear of the issues with the light bulbs, if you had given us a call we could have sent someone round with replacements for you. Regards the owner Property Owner

  • "Ideal holiday location with tranquil benefits from property isolation, combined with accessibility to shops within a 5 minute drive, and walks around 'Gortin Glen Forest' within a 15 minute drive."

Property owner Joseph available by phone, and able to explain instructions for the property as required. Overall a beneficial experience. Thanks.

  • "We enjoyed our stay, but there were a number of issues that should be noted."

On arrival the driveway was very muddy and general outside appearance was poor. The barn door was on ground, grass not cut, general debris in grass. House was clean but main sitting couches old and dirty. Kitchen freezer door was left open and over froze so spent an hour defrosting so door would close, dishwasher door not locking and unusable. There was no information leaflets on the running of appliances and waste management or other facilties etc. Resolving these issues would greatly improve the experience.
