"Beautiful cottage in a quiet rural location."
Very well furnished including a well equipped modern kitchen. Open fires in lounge & dinning room complement the central heating (smokeless coal & wood supplied) Loved the welcoming pack... Including a yummy fruit loaf.. all 4 comfortable bedrooms are on suite, no queue for the bathroom! Located in the historic & friendly village of Caledon Co Tyrone, it is within easy reach of many places of interest. We absolutely loved our stay & wished we could have packed the cottage & its location in our suitcases to take home! Goose Cottage does not disappoint.

"It is a very nice cottage to accommodate 4 couples with 4 en-suit units."
Fairly priced, convenient for car access and ideal for travelers to explore both Northern Ireland and the south. The kitchen and dinning area are also fit for purpose. The parking space within the gates is enough for 4 cars, more than the web stated 2 cars. We are very happy to be there for 6 nights. There are some recommendations for improvement: Some taps and toilet flushing switches are not functioning smoothly; Some central heating panels are not working (some of us felt a bit cold in the first two nights due to the temperature drop); Provide a fly-swatter if possible (a few flies tried to share the food with us and we could not find a easy way to get rid of them). Considering the price, we should not complaint about these minor flaws and we hope anyone reading this review would not be discourage to rent this cottage.

"The location was really good as we were visiting family near by."
Quiet and peaceful place. Everything you need in the accommodation and we were left a beautiful fruit cake on arrival. I was travelling with an elderly parent and a teenager so really good to have ensuite rooms. Really did exceed our expectations.

"I would highly recommended the property."
It was clean and welcoming. The added touch was the home baked cake and the dog treats and the milk that was provided, it was very kind. The only thing was the water wasn't always hot but it wasn't a problem. My three son's really enjoyed it and have asked about staying again. It was just what I needed after what my self and my sons were going through. The added bonus that my sons really enjoyed was the visit that we had coming through the back door was the welcome of MR frog. lol

"It was so lovely to be able to drive in,and unpack right outside the cottage, and just drive around to come out!"
.... The only thing was ,maybe another fridge in the back room, only 5 of us stayed, but when we invited our family over for tea,we made food which couldn't fit in the small fridge alone!... And we couldn't work out how the fly's were coming in? So many

"Excellent and very friendly communications from Henny."
The banana loaf was delicious and we appreciated finding milk in the fridge too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and, all things being equal, we'd love to come back to Goose Cottage in future. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

"We were happily surprised with the bread, milk and eggs left for us."
The cottage was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the sheep, cattle and beautiful view across the valley looking West, and felt lucky to spot a small herd of deer and some pheasants. Such a lovely location. We hope to return.

"Goose Cottage was fabulous accommodation."
It was in a lovely quiet location and very well equipped for cooking and relaxing. It was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. I slept in one of the twin rooms which was really spacious, with plenty of storage, comfy beds and a great shower. Our communication with the property managers prior to our stay was efficient and welcoming, and we were left a lovely welcome pack of eggs and cake! It is definitely a place we will return to next time we come to Northern Ireland!

Plenty of wood for log fires in the evening. Home-made cake in arrival was a lovely touch.

"Perfect house, so spacious, definitely recommend this house as a base for exploring the beautiful locality."
House was spotlessly clean, presses full of basic necessity’s e.g. bin bags, tin foil, kitchen paper. This was such a good addition to an already great experience in the house.
The fresh eggs, beautiful baked bread, milk and butter in the fridge was very much appreciated.
I will definitely be back and will recommend to my friends if traveling in that area.

"A lovely cottage in Northern Ireland in the countryside near Armagh."
We arrived late and found a cake, milk and other items left for us.
Ideal for larger families with 4 en-suite bathrooms. Very clean and stocked with good variety of cooking equipment, towels and linen and outdoor BBQ. Staff attentive when light broke.
We used this as a base to explore parts of Northern Ireland we haven't been to and had a lovely holiday.
Cottage is certainly worth considering.

"Great vale accomodation near my family allowing a semi return to normality after everything in the last year."
The place looked great and was well kept when we arrived.
Having a fruit cake and little welcome card didn't hurt either.
We look forward to coming back in the future.

"Incredibly peaceful setting surrounded by sheep who quietly chew the grass - and you can hear them because there is so little noise around."
We have a dog who is used to long walks off lead and it was challenging to find that (partly due to COVID restrictions on local places and partly because surrounding fields have livestock in). We hoped for a quiet retreat in a nice cottage, set in beautiful countryside - and it is exactly that. Any questions we had were answered very quickly and thoroughly. Thank you.

"Beautiful property and very quiet and peaceful surroundings, garden was secure for our dog and she loved watching the sheep in the field beside the house!"
Everything was spotless and well laid out. The range of crockery, utensils, pots & pans supplied was above what you would expect to find in a holiday rental. Welcome package of homemade brown bread, free range eggs, butter, jam, milk was a lovely surprise, they even included some doggy treats for our fur baby! Will definitely be returning as soon as we can
