"We had a lovely week in 3 Seanachaí."
We had a problem with the toaster the first day as it tripped out all the sockets. We managed to get the fuse box opened and put switch back on. We reported it and the next day they came with a new toaster. Which was great. The only thing we found there was only one teaspoon but for the two of us so it was fine but if there were more people they may need more. We would stay there again.

"A very spacious dwelling."
However some points that let it down: particularly post covid I would expect, as a minimum, mattress and pillow protectors on the beds. Our mattress was filthy and blood stained and the bed linen was not as clean as it should have been and the bed throw was dirty and tatty . There was no hot water in either the hand basins or the kitchen sink with no instructions how to remedy that. The TV was disconnected. The whole place would benefit from snagging especially in areas where excess grout has not been removed and poor finish in places etc. No indication of where to dispose of rubbish. There were large bins at the back but none of the keys we had unlocked them. The plumbing has very little water pressure and as a minimum I think the toilet flushes need improving. The kitchen is missing a couple of essentials eg teaspoons and chopping board and some of the pans need replacing. It is a shame the above points mar what is otherwise a very comfy accommodation.

"We had a lovely week staying at the Holiday cottage."
It had everything we needed, a very comfortable home from home. It was in a good location for us being just outside Dungarvan enjoying some good restaurants and close to family. I do feel that the property has a few issues with the plumbing as the sinks took a while to drain and the toilets took several flushes. Also, we couldn't get the television to work. Apart from this, my family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage.

"This house is in great need of a proper clean."
Floors not swept, bin in downstairs bathroom not emptied, oven filthy. Dust everywhere, rubbish under the beds. Musty smell in downstairs bedroom and bathroom. There is a Christmas tree in the sitting room which is a complete joke in the middle of summer.

"As other reviewers have noted, there are several negatives with this property."
We had to clean the place from top to bottom; remove blood-stained bedding; and remove some slugs from the walls. We opened all the windows for a couple of hours to try and diminish the aroma of damp coming from behind the kitchen sink. To connect to the wi-fi we had to (under the owner's directions) climb up on to the kitchen cabinets and switch it on from the router's eccentric placement above the cooker. We were given the wrong wi-fi password by the owners. Their contact information was also incorrect. Further eccentricity was provided by the placement of a dusty, fake Christmas tree in the sitting room (in June). The carpet in the downstairs bedroom is filthy. Neither of the extractor fans in the bathrooms work. The mirror light in the downstairs bathroom doesn't work. The 'pop up' plugs in both bathrooms are broken. In the kitchen, the state of the oven is a disgrace. This property is tired and shabby. It is in urgent need of modernisation and a deep clean.

"No Wi-fi at all and unable to contact anybody at all to try to resolve this."
Contact details in cottage booklet were useless and out of date, In the event of a major problem who were we meant to get in touch with, and how? Taps in Main bathroom not fit for purpose. Was led to believe that the pub/restaurant next door would be available but this has obviously been closed for some time. To be fair the cottage itself was clean, tidy and warm.

"Arrived at 2."
15 pm and found the house to be covered in dead bluebottle flies, a sticky childrens sweet stuck fast to kitchen floor, long hairs in upstairs bathroom and marks on bathroom floor that looked a bit like a splash of sickness. A gentleman arrived at door minutes after we arrived and handed us toilet rolls and towels. I mentioned the house was full of dead bluebottles and he said because we were early it had not been cleaned. There was only one bin liner in house and no instructions on how to get hot water etc. All in the house was fine for our fishing trip, the let down was the cleanliness of it. Apart from that i would recommend it.
Hi Iain. Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are sorry to hear about this. Check-in is 3pm. The cleaner was not fully finished cleaning prior to your arrival. We appreciate the feedback. The house has been replenished with bin bags. We hope to hear from you in the near future. Property Owner

"Very spacious house, all mod coms, great location close to Dungarvan, Ardmore, Greenway, and much more."
.. handy to have the pub/restaurant next door, which is pretty good.

"We loved and really appreciated the personal touch of the Christmas tree and gifts left, as well as the starting pack of coffee, tea etc."
The house was beautifully warm and welcoming on our arrival. Saucepans and a chopping board were sadly missing, limiting our ability to self cater during our stay. Also we would have liked some means of making real coffee. There was no ironing board or vacuum cleaner which meant I could not vacuum the floors prior to our departure. We would certainly book to stay again and recommend to friends but perhaps an inventory of kitchen/domestic equipment might be published on the website so that visitors would know what to bring. Feel free to publish what you want from this review.
Hi Aoife, Thank you for your lovely comments and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you also for feedback regarding kitchen equipment. We have since done a renewed inventory list and the house has been replenished with saucepans, a chopping board, other household utensils and an ironing board. A coffee machine will be available soon. Looking forward to hearing from you again. Thanks Property Owner
