  • "The house itself was ok tho you would be crowded with more than 2 people."

There was no WiFi which was quite a problem for us . The house wasn't in Fethard on sea. However the surrounding area is very interesting and lovely. Very helpful caretaker. TValso didn't work as advertised. We still enjoyed our week but would not stay there again.

  • "Hi, we love staying in your house."

It's our 4th year in a row. It is such a homely and comfortable house. We will definitely be booking again for next year. Thanks Orla

  • "Location is fantastic and we love the hookless village as it is ideal for young children."

The cottage needs attention. It’s way to cluttered, has things every single corner, guests don’t have any space. And I asked in particular to please de-clutter as I read reviews and have bad allergies conditions. I don’t think clutter decoration is cozy In a house you rent, it’s just disturbing messy and makes the stay unpleasant. The beds, as per review, are a joke. The double bed had springs coming out. It’s disrespectful to expect people will sleep in that bed. I complained and the mattress for the double bed was changed on the day 5 of my stay. I could proper sleep for 2 nights. My mother in law was planning to go and I told her to don’t go, she could not sleep in the spare bedroom as the bed wasn’t appropriate. Even my 2 kids complained! All appliances MUST be replaced. Kettle very old, toaster, washing machine is a total joke, all. The night wash is impossible as the washing machine seems to be taking off. The dryer doesn’t work the timer, door breaking. Didn’t have any matching plates, has tons of everything but nothing matching. Need an urgent renovation and a skip for ultimate cleaning/de-clutter. Will definitely return to the village next year, but not to number 11. Unfortunately I do not recommend this property.

  • "The house is so clean and has everything."

The group of houses is so safe for the kids, they love it, that's why this was our third year to stay and plan on making next year our fourth.

  • "House was fine, but some of the appliances need updating, dishwasher and microwave in particular, the showers need fixing as you either had too hot or too cold."

The temperature control was not working. This had already been reported on a trip advisor from ages ago and still not fixed. Other than that the place was nice and clean and was cosy.

Both shower units have been replaced. Property Owner

  • "House is in a great location, but is far too cluttered."

There is little to no space for guests to use for their own stuff. Fridge is tiny, staying for two weeks we could barely get our food that we brought into it. Beds are shocking, needed replacing years ago. Have the furniture in the living area needs to be removed. Heater in living area broken and has been for some time by the looks of it. Very disappointed with this letting.

Property has been decluttered and a separate freezer installed. Mattresses have been replaced. Property Owner

  • "We have returned 1 day early as both the showers in the cottage did not work."

The ensuite shower had dribble of water, the upstairs showers had no water at all. The ensuite shower ( only tired once)also has a uncontrollable temperature gauge which resulted in a bad head scald. The hoover hose is held to the Hoover with insulating tape which made clean up sand impossible. Locals told us that these cottages have poor water pressure so we waited for an improvement....nothing changed. We are hoping the landlord will rectify our situation.

  • "Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday."

The location was great, 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach. The holiday village was well maintained. The house was well equipped with cutlery and crockery and cooking essentials. The mattresses on some of the beds were uncomfortable. My 16 year old son found sleeping on the floor was more comfortable than the bed. Also, there was a lack of mattress and pillow protectors. There were 2 decks, one to the front and one to the rear and no furniture for the one at the rear.

  • "We had a fantastic time."

We had been in the area numerous times but would really recommend this accommodation. The house was so homely which made us feel very welcome. The two decking areas were fantastic. Lots of privacy, not too close to the houses each side. Very safe. Would definitely recommend and going to book again for next year.

The cottage was ideal for us with two small children. The playground and the presence of lots of other children made the holiday extra enjoyable for the children and consequently for the adults! The location is excellent for a relaxing holiday.
