  • "Patricia and Jack were so welcoming and helpful to their lovely place."

It was perfect. The cottage was very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The area was tranquil and peaceful. Perfect for a great chill out. It was rural but great for taking in the sites. You do need a car. You can see Wexford with ease or just sit out and relax in the lovely garden. The garden is perfectly secluded. I have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous place.

  • "Our stay at Tilladavin House was wonderful, and it is a great base for exploring South Wexford."

The house itself is fantastic with 3 very big double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and very large king size beds. The kitchen is also large and very well equipped. The living room also is plenty big enough with an open fire. The owners live in a self-contained section of the house, but that really isn't an issue as the walls are so thick you don't notice. The Owners, Jack and Patricia are lovely, we had a couple of great chats with them after being invited into their kitchen. They are not at all obtrusive, and left us to get on with enjoying our stay. I must give a special mention to their Jack Russell dog named Pen. A lovely dog who adopted us during our stay. There is internet connectivity via WiFi. It only works in the kitchen and a couple of the bedrooms though. Although Internet connectivity was very important to me, the restrictive access wasn't an issue. The speed averaged at 30MBPS, so adequately useable. All in all I highly recommend staying at Tilladavin House and my wife and myself would like to thank Jack and Patricia for their warm welcome, we left feeling we had made a couple of friends.

  • "A stunning house and garden."

Very friendly owners (& dog.) We had a comfortable, enjoyable stay and was able to get out and about to many of the different recommended landmarks. House was clean and provided facilities a family needs to stay away from home. Thank you for a great 1st visit to Ireland! Recommendation: A small freezer would be useful in the property as shops are a distance away so unable to store any potentially bought frozen food items, as only a small fridge available there currently.

  • "We had a wonderful week at Tilladavin, it was ideal for us as a group of 6 (4 adults, two kids aged 3 and 5)."

The garden is safe and spacious for the kids to play in and they LOVED wee Pen, the resident jack Russel pooch who they adopted as their own for the stay. The house is hard to find on arrival, at least for us, a wee sign at the top of the lane would have been perfect. Other than that, this place was perfect and an ideal base for exploring sights around Wexford and Waterford. Thank you Patricia and Jack! X
