"Naseby house is perfect."

"We had a fantastic stay at Naseby House."
It's a beautifully done-up property, very well thought out and well appointed, with everything you could need, from washing machine and dishwasher (with detergent provided for both) to an air fryer, comfy beds, games and toys for little ones and lots of televisions! We only stayed for three nights but I've already recommended the place to a family member and would stay again. The owners were so accommodating and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed e.g. they arranged for fresh eggs from the neighbours opposite to be delivered to us after I enquired about getting some, there was milk and chocolates on arrival, plus a bottle of wine, which when I told them we don't drink, they kindly swapped for biscuits. More importantly, my elderly and not-very-mobile dad came to stay, so Phil and his wife kindly set up the sofa bed downstairs especially for him, getting extra bedding in as well. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble for them. I've stayed in lots of holiday rentals and this was by far one of the best. As a retired builder, you can tell Phil has put a lot of his experience and thought into making the place comfy - little finishing touches such as lots of rails and hooks to hang towels on for example. My two young children were also very happy at Naseby House: they loved the fact there were fresh colouring books and reading books for them, plus puzzles and games; they loved their room and the garden; and of course they loved having a TV in their bedroom! The location is great for getting around the area and visiting sights. Wherever you stay in the countryside, you need a car and this is no different, but Alfreton and Clay Cross are both a short drive away, with large supermarkets and other shops for everything you might need. If I could ask for anything more, it would be two very silly things: some medium-sized spoons please and larger bath towels! Overall a fantastic house, which was honestly like a home away from home. "We really enjoyed our stay at Naseby House and we cannot say enough good things."
.. we would definitely return. The home has everything you need, the kitchen and all areas are fully furnished and equipped.. the house is perfect for families. We have two young kids and they absolutely loved the amount of space on offer. The garden is secure and there is an separate living space/ area with kids toys and TV. The owner Phil was truly so helpful and kind. The home is well situated to village amenities including playground, post office and a pub. The stay was seamless and comfortable.

"We had a great stay at Naseby cottage."
The house was furnished to a high standard and was extremely clean. We felt very happy letting our dog roam on the garden as the outside was fully secure. The house is very spacious and has lots of useful accessories (dishwasher, tumbler dryer, washing machine, air fryer etc). Within a couple of minutes walk from the house there are multiple walks where you are surrounded by beautiful country side. There’s also a shop less than a minute away where you can get some essentials. The owner was really responsive to messages and made check out/check in very smooth. We would definitely stay again.
