Located close to Ottery St Mary with good links to the A30 and the World heritage Jurassic Coastline, this wonderful pet-friendly property is the ideal base for couples or friends wishing to experience everything that this diverse part of Devon has to offer.

After dark, gather around the fire pit with a night cap under the stars.

The surrounding area offers so much to see and do with an abundance of outdoor activities waiting to be discovered.

Situated in an area popular with walkers and cyclists, Haldon Forest boasts 1400 hectares of woodland whether you want a quiet gentle stroll or an exhilarating mountain biking experience, there is something here to suit all abilities.

Nearby Escot Park has over 45 acres of beautiful and enchanting ancient woodland and gardens, with bears, wolves, arctic foxes and owls, among some of the many animals you will have the chance to spot.

Nearby Exmouth is a traditional seaside town with a wonderful golden sandy beach or head to the pretty fishing village of Beer with its limestone cliffs and working fishing boats.

Other popular days out include Charmouth with its fossil-rich beaches or Exeter with its imposing cathedral and historic quayside.

Ottery St Mary sits beside the River Otter and is well known for its literary connections to the poet Coleridge and for its beautiful church often referred to as a Exeter cathedral lookalike. Ottery St Mary is also famous for its traditional 'Tar Barrels' which attracts more than 3000 visitors on 5th November each year. Ottery has welcoming traditional Devon pubs and plenty of individual shops, offering quality local produce and a warm welcome to visitors. The area is a walkers’ paradise, with strolls along the banks of the River Otter or hill climbs offering magnificent views as far as Dartmoor.
