"Had a lovely week at 1 Islam Cottages which was in a convenient spot for walking, buses, trains and shops."
Did have to put heating on as it turned a bit chilly and did not automatically come on when temperature dropped. Could not find instruction manual for washing machine and disappointed there wasn’t an iron and ironing board as clothes were a bit creased when we unpacked our clothes. On the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family.
Thank you for the feedback. Good to hear that you had a good time on your holiday. Glad you found the heating control and could keep yourself warm. Thanks for letting us know about the washing machine manual. It should have been the welcome folder with all the other manuals so we’ll make sure it gets replaced for future guests. Property Owner

"We had a lovely family stay at Tom & Lis’ place."
I would say it’s very well suited to a young family - there was a high chair and stair gate available and the pull out bed and bunk beds in the upstairs bedroom allowed for lots of different sleep arrangements. The open plan living area is on the small side but we spent most of our time on the beach so suited us perfectly as a place to chill in the evenings. The utility space is useful for sandy beach stuff. Kent’s caverns are only a short walk away too and they were a huge hit with our 6 year old and 3 year old!
Thanks for the feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed your holiday and that the child friendliness of the cottage worked for you. Property Owner

"We had a fabulous week’s stay at Ilsham Cottage over Easter with our family of 5 (children ages 15,13 and 9)."
The accommodation is modern, clean and well equipped. It’s a stone throw away from the high street which has a lovely pub, independent shops, cafes and Italian restaurant plus a co-op. The host provided us with a recommendation for Sunday roast which did not disappoint and were quick to respond to our emails. We’d highly recommend Anstey’s Cove for wild swimming if that’s your thing. If not it’s a super cute beach well worth the steep 10 minute walk down (and back). Great cafe there too that does breakfasts lunches and cold beer and ciders
So glad you enjoyed your week in the cottage. Ansteys Cove is one of our favourite places too . Property Owner

"We loved our stay in this cute cottage - it was warm, comfortable and easy to manage."
The location was spot-on for walking to the beach or heading down into the town and the village is incredibly convenient for shopping, meals out or grabbing a drink. The welcome package was lovely and we felt at home quickly. Thanks, we’ll definitely be back!
We’re so glad you enjoyed the cottage and your time in Torquay. We’ll look forwards to welcoming you back ☺️. Property Owner
