"There was an air of reticence from the owners from the time of our arrival."
There was no WiFi and reluctance to provide a replacement loo roll - which was begrudgingly given to my husband on our 2nd request, thrust at gefore before the door being shut in his face. The A frame shape of the building meant that head room was very limited around the bed, in the loo and the bathroom. The outside space was covered in very jagged stones that our dog was unwilling to walk on. However given the size and the lining of the area outside if he had used this all week it would have just been a dog toilet. Consequently we left a day before the end of the week of our booking.

"We had an excellent two day stay in Brookhaven."
The apartment is set within the owner's property, so they are on hand to answer any questions and give local advice. We (and doggo) were made to feel very welcome. The apartment itself is well equipped, comfortable and it has everything you'll need for a short stay.

"Had a fabulous stay here."
The owners made us so welcome. The property was clean and in a beautiful setting with fields behind for an outlook with a bubbling stream by the side. Would definitely like to go back in the summer months. Lovely and peaceful.

"This is a fantastic loft property with lovely owners."
Can’t beat shortbread biscuits and wine as a welcome after a long drive ❤️ The property is clean, well equipped (it had everything I needed) I cooked breakfast and evening meals daily. The little things … cleaning sprays, cloths, tea towels, cling film etc etc are all in the property. The gravel garden area is secure .. even if you travel with jack russells! This is in a perfect location if you want to stay somewhere quiet but with easy access to places of interest. I hope to return later in the year.
