All amenities that you would need are there. Great location to visit the South Hams area. The only thing I would mention is that the stairs are very steep and narrow at the bottom. This should really be mentioned in the description, particularly with young children or the elderly.

"We loved our stay thank!"
The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and the outside courtyard is the ideal place to sit and relax outdoors. We had a lovely sunny week and many walks just around the corner in the morning before venturing out for the day.
The village of Averton Gifford is quiet and what we needed to get away and unwind.

"The Cottage was so gorgeous."
The decor was so chic. The beds were so comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. It could not have been more perfect. The location is stunning. The tidal road is the most beautiful walk and the area is stunning.

"We had a lovely stay at 2 Court Cottages."
The photograph of the outside does not do justice to how spacious it is inside. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was thoughtfully supplied. The small courtyard garden was a lovely warm, sheltered place to relax with a drink (or two) at the end of the day. Would definitely like to visit again!

Thank you for your feedback. Bed comfort is very subjective, and indeed there are reviews stating that other guests have found the property including the beds, comfortable. "This is a really nice house."
Very comfortable, has everything we needed, clean and well maintained. It is a really good location to visit local beaches. We had a lovely stay and I would happily recommend it.
No criticism of the property in any way, but visitors should be made aware that the cars outside come literally to the doorstep and drive very fast - be extra cautious with children and dogs.

Very comfortable. Spotless clean and well appointed. Was going to rebook for next year however far too large a price increase.

"2 Court Cottages has been beautifully restored, decorated and furnished."
The ground floor has been opened up to provide a comfortable sitting room and kitchen/diner with French doors onto the courtyard garden. The bedrooms are very restful with lovely linen and fluffy towels. Both bathrooms have very efficient showers/baths.
Aveton Gifford is very well positioned for easy access to all the lovely beaches and cliff path walks in the South Hams as well as shopping in Kingsbridge and Salcombe.
We hope to return again soon.

"My husband and I have recently returned from a most enjoyable holiday at 2 court cottages in Aveton Gifford Devon."
The cottage is delightful; tastefully furnished and well equipped.The beds were extremely comfortable and made up of fine linen. On cooler evenings we really enjoyed the wood burning stove making the whole place feel extremely cosy.
We were lucky to have (not every day) some lovely warm sunny weather and were able to enjoy the delightful court yard garden for drinks and meals and this was at the end of September!
Aveton Gifford is a friendly unpretentious village and the general store/ Post Office is very well stocked. The village is placed in a really great position for walks,beaches a short ride away, and is a brilliant base for visiting the surrounding area.
We will definitely book this cottage again!

"Lovely cottage for our family summer stay."
All the appliances you need - as well as super comfy beds, and lovely carpets! There was lots of space upstairs, and downstairs was perfect for 4 people. Look out for the drop step to the kitchen - almost floored all 4 of us at various points. However the cottage was clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable: just the ticket for a nice holiday!

Clean and very welcoming. Great little Community shop and the play area in the village is very well equiped for all age of children. Lovely log burner and very fluffy towels. Great location for coast and country and parking wasn't an issue as plenty of free parking next to the Community shop.
