  • "Excellent property in a superb setting, very peaceful with a lovely view."

Linhay was perfect for two plus dogs. It had all the facilities one needs, including microwave, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Nice welcoming gift of wine, biscuits and dog biscuits - much appreciated. It was very clean and comfortable and had an informative brochure which included details about the pet pigs !! Would recommend Linhay to anyone who wants a quiet break but is within easy access of local towns.

  • "The Linhay is a beautiful little haven for two(and two cockapoos)."

It provides everything needed and more and all to a high standard). The surroundings are amazing for walks and gorgeous views. We will definitely be back!

  • "Settee too low to be comfortable."

Extraction in shower/toilet not working or has been removed. Also no windows in these facilities, therefore, not acceptable - owners notified.

  • "The concrete driveway of some distance has drops over the sides and there are no passing bays, fortunately we did not meet anyone coming the other way."

The accommodation is small but adequate for a short stay. However, in the kitchen /living area there is an uncomfortable bucket chair and a very low, small 2 seater sofa. No good for anyone with back or arthritis problems, we turned round and went home. Very disappointed

  • "Setting was lovely and accommodation was to a high standard."

However it was far from peaceful. The cottage next door surrounds you on one side and above meaning any movement from the neighbours creates constant significant noise from the ceiling. Also the neighbouring property door doesn’t seem to shut properly meaning it was repeatedly being slammed to close, literally 6ft away from where you’re bed is. Not ideal. Location is good for day trips away to the beach.

  • "We had a wonderful stay, such a beautiful location!"

The property itself was spotless and extremely comfortable and had everything you could need including some lovely little touches. Will 100% recommend and stay again

  • "Gorgeous little cottage in a wonderful secluded location."

Clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Our neighbours mainly consisted of coo's, piggies and sheep. The odd buzzard and a few housemartin's. A perfect get away from it all location. And just a short drive to the glorious North Devon, coast. No negatives at all. We will definitely return. Thank you to all @ The Linhay
