  • "Wow! This is by far the nicest place we have stayed."

    The setting is stunning. The hosts were most welcoming and very friendly. The garden was so lovely with a river running right at the end. Birds galore at well stocked feeders. Lovely to hear and watch in the mornings and evenings. The photos on your site do not do this place justice. Very clean, modern and a well equipped cottage in a great location for getting out and exploring Cornwall. We hope to visit again. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

  • "Jasmine Cottage is the perfect place to unwind and relax."

    The cottage is finished to a high standard and equipped with all you need for a home to home stay. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep and the shower was fantastic. Perfectly situated to visit wonderful Cornwall. Add to all of this the wonderful owners, Andy and Julie. They were on hand from the moment we arrived until we left. nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much Andy and Julie, we had a fantastic holiday and will return.

    Spotlessly clean all through, very comfy bed, shower worked faultlessly. Andy & Julie were fabulous hosts making us feel very welcome all through our stay. Wonderful wildlife to watch in the lovely garden. Welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk & biscuits was a lovely touch much appreciated. Will definitely stay again.

  • "Jasmine cottage was a little piece of heaven."

    Although next to A38 we couldn’t hear a thing. Even in the hot tub where you could see cars in the distance but not be disturbed. The fine touch of having Cornish coffee tea biscuits and milk all waiting on arrival was lovely and everything we needed was there. Hope to return one day.

  • "Approaching from the Plymouth end on a busy road, its a tad difficult to spot the white dinghy-its very low down."

    Andy the proprietor is going to raise it higher and re-paint during the lull season. Coming from the west its easier with more land-marks and the dinghy is a little easier to spot. All in all the cottage was v well equipped and we would consider going their again.

A spacious gravelled driveway greets you upon arrival, leading you through the beautifully-maintained gardens, providing a tranquil spot to soak in the evening sun as you listen to the steam flow freely nearby, and meet likeminded holiday makers.

Stepping over the threshold, you're welcomed into an open-plan living space, traditionally decorated with exposed wooden beams and a country-style dresser, fit with a well-equipped kitchen tucked away in the corner of the sociable space, where you can share a bottle of wine as the designated chef prepares a romantic meal for two.

Settle down for the evening with a seat on the sumptuous sofa, snuggled up with your significant other as you enjoy your favourite film on the television, or escape the excitement and soothe your muscles with a leisurely soak amongst the bubbles in the contemporary bathroom.

Bodmin, the one-time County Town of Cornwall with its narrow streets, shops and pubs, is perfectly placed for exploring all that this fabulous holiday area has to offer. The outstanding surf, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the north coast beaches and the quieter sands and river estuaries of the south coast are both 15 miles away while on the edge of town is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail. The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow. Close by are the open spaces and wind swept grandeur of Bodmin Moor while the incomparable Eden Project (11 miles), Falmouth’s National Maritime Museum (30 miles) and the beautiful harbour town of Padstow with its famous pubs and restaurants (16 miles) make for great days out.
