"This was a lovely New Year time with the family and 21 Passage Street was exactly what we were hoping for."

The facilities were perfect for us, very spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the front bedrooms had dreamy views over the estuary to Bodinnick. We really appreciated the welcome Christmas hamper that Andy & Michelle had provided. The weather also behaved itself sufficient to permit a NYD morning swim at Readymoney Cove. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

"A really lovely, spacious property, great location and a much appreciated welcome pack on arrival."

It has everything you need with probably the best stocked kitchen out of the many properties we have stayed in. Beds extremely comfortable and the main shower was excellent. Communication from the owners was first class and they are doing a fantastic job in their first year of owning the property. I challenge anyone staying here to find fault. Out and about, a meal in Sam’s is recommended and a couple of afternoons in The Ship Inn will relax you (music and pub quiz on a Sunday as well as a fantastic roast).

"This is probably one of the most well equipped houses we have stayed in, in terms of crockery/cutlery/glasses etc."

Also, fantastically situated in the village of Fowey. The house itself was amazing, very clean and cosy, a real home from home. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone. Andy and Michelle were amazing hosts, and kept in constant contact, even providing a birthday cake and a fab welcome pack for our arrival. We are already missing the amazing river views from the bedrooms :-(!

"As lovely as it would be to keep 21 Passage Street a little secret to ourselves it would be unfair."

We couldn’t fault it in any way and Andy (the owner) went out of his way to make our stay really special. So we really couldn’t recommend the cottage highly enough.

"Really lovely property, fantastic location perfect for a family holiday ."

Recent renovations made have shifted it to 5 star status in our opinion Communication with host was great with speedy response and friendly enquiries made to ensure all was going well for us . Would recommend without hesitation . As an aside the welcome pack was much appreciated!

Beds and linen comfortable, great large bathroom. Helpful to have tea,coffee,milk for arrival. Really kind to have remembered we were staying to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. Easy walk to the car park and into the town which has a lovely selection of shops,pubs and good restaurants.

"A lovely home from home property."

Excellent location, really well equiped with comfortable beds. We walked the coast path most days. The number 25 bus was an excellent service and at only £2 each a ticket we were able to leave the car behind.

Such a homely and inviting property with everything and everyone catered for, there really wasn't anything else we could have needed or wished for. Such a lovely welcome with lots of helpful information about the property and surrounding area. Everything was spotless and so calming looking out to the beautiful sea. The property

21 Passage Street is an exceptional holiday home elevated above the river in the heart of Fowey, with river views from the first and second floor.

There’s a wide range of pubs, restaurants, cafes, galleries, shops and activities just a short walk away.

Located at the top of a flight of external steps to an elevated terrace with furniture, this, three storey, Victorian mid-terrace house stands above the street to maximise views.

It’s an ideal base for families and friends looking to explore Cornwall.

The views from the top two floors are ever-changing with the Boddinick Ferry going to and from Fowey and boats, paddleboards, kayaks and other watercrafts darting around the river.

The house overlooks Ferryside, Daphne du Maurier’s Boddinick family home.

The light and spacious open-plan living space is perfect for socialising and relaxing with friends and family, whatever the time of year.

Cook up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen to enjoy at the dining table before relaxing in the sitting area, with its wood burning stove and stripped floorboards.

There are three tastefully presented bedrooms, including two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower, and a second-floor twin bedroom with an en-suite cloakroom.

All rooms include luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding and fluffy white towels.

The spacious family bathroom includes a large bath and walk-in shower.

There is so much to see and do on your doorstep, wondering through the narrow streets of Fowey, famed for is Regatta week, one of the best sailing events in Cornwall.

This small town and civil parish lies at the mouth of the River Fowey in south Cornwall. The estuary of the River Fowey forms a natural harbour, which enabled the town to become an important trading centre. There is a wealth of things to see and do in and around the harbour. Whether you enjoy getting out on the water, playing golf or finding out more about the history of the area, you are sure to find something to suit the whole family. Harbour cruises leave the Town Quay regularly in season giving you a superb view of the town, but for the more adventurous, rent your own self-drive boat, kayak or paddle board and explore the waters for yourselves! The town is steeped in history, so why not join a guided tour of either Fowey or Polruan? You can even join an owl experience, play golf, go horse riding or pursue your artistic talents with pottery or painting courses. There is the aquarium, museum and St Catherine's Castle, as well as Readymoney Cove, all waiting to be explored. If you get peckish, or fancy something thirst quenching along the way, there is a plethora of pubs, inns, cafes and restaurants to choose. Whenever you plan to visit, keep a look out for the festivals, fairs, markets and theatre performances on throughout the year.
