  • "We had a lovely 5 days here."

After a long day walking it was great to come back to relaxing in the jacuzzi. We thought the position of lodge was great , open and away from the trees with the nice views. Lodge could do with plastic plates and glasses to eat outside as we were very careful not to break any, frying pan had seen better days. Overall throughly enjoyed our stay. Sykes were great asking if everything was OK and kept us well informed .

I loved reading your wonderful feedback Alison, thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us! I am really happy that you had such a lovely time and hope you will be back to stay with us again in the future. Sally, Guest Services, Charteroak Property Owner

  • "7 valley view is a lovely comfortable lodge in great location, immediately felt at home."

Well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine, and good selection of plates, cutlery, saucepans etc. Lodge was very clean and well maintained. The location of the lodge surrounded by hedging and small trees gave a feeling of being immersed in nature, waking up listening to the birds every morning. We hadn't visited Stonerush for a few years as it had declined and lodges were very tired, but new management have completely turned it around. Customer service team helpful and friendly, and quickly responded to my enquiry regarding if decking area had a gate (it does). Thank you also to Darren from Sykes who helped me with more info on lodge than was on listing. Great lodge and location, will definitely be back.

I was absolutely delighted to read your amazing feedback Joyce, it put a huge smile on my face! I am so happy you feel that Stonerush Lakes is once again a beautiful, peaceful and enjoyable place to stay and that you had a lovely holiday, thank you for your kind words . We look forward to being able to welcome you back to stay with us again in the future, Sally, Guest Services, Charteroak Property Owner
