  • "The property lived up to our hopes from the blurb."

Fabulous views. Very comfortable. Everything there that we needed. Had a great time and definitely plan to return.

  • "Absolutely amazing, the pics look amazing but when we arrived we were blown away."

The extra little touches were lovely and made the arrival even better. Location- perfect, house- unbelievably beautiful Highly recommend and have to friends already but wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we head that way again, which we will as this property is a dream place with family or friends Nice little village shop and pub about 1/2 mile down road (walk back was interesting!) but great week away Thankyou

  • "A lovely place to spend quality time with the family."

The lovely weather we had made the scenic views from the large windows all the more special. The games room was great, not sure why you don’t have photos of it on the website as it is a great selling point for all ages.

  • "We had an amazing stay at Buddicombe House in August."

The House lived up to expectations and more. It was spotless and there was plenty of room for our family of 10. We had 5 children and they loved the games room. There was plenty of room for us all to sit in the lounge in the evenings and we loved sitting together in the large dining room for evening meals. The House had everything we needed for our stay - the kitchen was well equipped. The bi-folding doors in the lounge were a lovely bonus and my husband and I enjoyed a morning coffee on the balcony of the master bedroom - the views were amazing. All in all a great place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

We’ve stayed in many houses in Devon, Cornwall etc and can honestly say this one tops them all. Thank you for a lovely holiday !

  • "The house was perfect for our family group of 6 adults & 4 children aged 2-10."

Spotless on arrival and extremely well equipped. The games room was popular with the children and especially when it was raining! The views were gorgeous and the area very quiet & peaceful, all rooms were spacious apart from the bunk bedroom but fine for the children. Plenty of storage - we all thought it was the best holiday rental we have stayed in together so far!

  • "Buddicombe House was beautiful and very comfortable."

The views were spectacular. The garden is very secure and safe. The children liked the games room and spent alot of time playing chess. As this is a dark sky area there was a telescope. We were a multi generational family of 10 and all our needs were met.

Beautiful house with spectacular views all around. Could not recommend this house highly enough for cleanliness, facilities, and very stylish décor. Excellent dealings with the owner who could not be more friendly and helpful.

Great kitchen set up, bedrooms comfortable, lovely bathrooms. Had everything we needed. Games room was very popular, particularly the pool table. Completely lived up to expectations.

  • "One of the best houses we have stayed in for space, comfort & very well equipped especially for a three generation family gathering."

Although used to using an AGA we did find the electric AGA a little challenging at times and the additional portable hob was used. Games room a massive hit especially when the weather was not at its best. Views amazing and a good location to reach beaches and other activities in the area.

The games room provided a distraction and much competition! Everything we needed was there and some. It made for a memorable Christmas. Thank you.

Lacked garden maintenance and garden cushion were very dirty and unusable Such a shame, glad it was not in the midst of summer for us..

  • "In almost every respect the best holiday home we have stayed in by the proverbial country mile."

Super spacious facilities, including the well equipped Games room and, of course, the magnificent views. The only very minor drawbacks were an oven that was rather complicated to operate and not as clean as it might have been and the lack of a conventional (non-AGA) hob. We did not come across the small portable hob in a cupboard in the utility room until we were about to leave.

It was so clean, easy to get the keys and had lots of things we weren’t expecting to be there. There was a lovely welcome package when we got there which was really thoughtful. Everything feels to a high standard and a lot of care and thought has been put into the property. The bedrooms are all good sized rooms with plenty of storage. There was something for everyone to do and lots j of space to do it. We found that the listing and the pictures undersold how lovely that it is! We had a great time and would definitely consider returning. Definitely recommending to the rest of the family and friends. Thank you for a lovely stay!
