"Mirror in main bedroom would be good and a full length mirror somewhere ."
Mat in living room to make it cosier . Threshold mats permanently wet .. I brought the back garden one inside and it works beautifully to clean shoes . Otherwise well stocked and maintained

"Great location and property"
-
"Lovely property in a superb location with magnificent sea views and a very high standard of accommodation."
The only thing letting it down was the sofa which was uncomfortable and becoming in need of replacement. In addition whilst the kitchen was really good with excellent utensils etc. it didn’t for some reason have any oven gloves which made it difficult when removing food from the oven - maybe guests should be instructed to bring their own with them. Apart from these two things everything else was top class and we couldn’t have asked for more.

"Sofa needs updating."
Very uncomfortable, smelt doggy. Shower heads need descaling and mould removed. Wifi didn’t work. I did mention the cleanliness to the management company on day 2. Shame really as I hired 3 properties for my sons wedding 2 years ago with no faults just goes to show how things decline over time. Do I receive compensation for this.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We can only apologise that you felt the property was not satisfactorily presented on your arrival. We work very hard with our owners and housekeepers to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained. We did offer for someone to come and rectify any issue you may have had, however you declined anyone to attend. We are also sorry you had trouble with the Wi-Fi, we were unaware that this was a problem. We do hope you still had a lovely holiday and enjoyed all the area has to offer. Property Owner

"This was the best holiday let we have had in the UK, the property was very clean and well presented, the appliances, cookware, plates and glasses were all good quality branded items."
The only item we would have liked is some form of sun shade, the property faces south west and the sun was too hot some afternoons. There was seating at the front of the property but this faces the car park and back of the restaurant and is not an appealing place to sit.

"Possibly the BEST accommodation I have stayed in!"
Well equipped with everything we needed, spotless, comfortable and the views across the coast were breath taking. To wake up to these scenes without even having to get out of bed really made the stay even more memorable. Coastal walk to Hope Cove and Bolt Tail straight from the property of an evening, beautiful. I would highly recommend! Thank you!

"Spacious, really well equipped and comfortable holiday let in a wonderful location."
Views are amazing. Couldn't fault anything. Roads to the property are narrow and confuse the sat nav but take your time, follow the info provided and it's well worth it. Park runners take your trainers for the run that starts a hundred yards or so away.

"Think the description said enclosed garden which some of the cottages had, but ours didn’t."
Bearing in mind this cottage allowed dogs, we assumed there would be an enclosed area for him to go outside safely.
-
"Stylish and well presented modern property, a pleasure to walk into."
Very well equipped with, almost, everything needed to make for a wonderful stay. Just a couple of niggles. A mirror in the back bedroom would be appreciated as would a small chair.
-
"Such a fantastic location and accommodation."
The only thing that would have made it better is of the Oceans Restaurant was open more often. Unfortunately it was only open for a few days during our stay and for me that was one of the main draws of the place. All other eating out options involved a drive. I would also suggest that on the booking confirmation you mention that advance booking of the restaurant is a must.

"This is a fantastic holiday home, very clean, non cluttered and well appointed."
Superb location and a lovely restaurant on site. An option to provide twin beds in one room would be good, and maybe one extra armchair in the living room as we couldn't all fit on sofa!
-
"The property was clean and in a great location."
High end appliances and finishing touches were nice. Small issue with leaking kettle and damp mouldy downstairs bathroom would have expected better for the price. I would overall recommend the accommodation and would return.
-
"Beautiful location with views along the coast."
Nice walk along coast path down into Hope Cove (30mins). Property very well equipped with the exception of outdoor cushions.
-
"We absolutely loved our stay in this cottage."
The location is amazing - close enough to walk down into Hope Cove but away from all the bustle when you want peace. Stunning views and sunsets from the back windows. Perfect for families with a dog as the cliff top meadow a short stroll from the door is beautiful and easy for an early morning or late evening off-lead run about! The restaurant on site is fabulous - because we stayed just after lockdown eased they were fully booked every evening but delivered a delicious takeaway on china with cutlery to our door! The standard of the inside of the house was amazing - beautiful bedrooms and everything you could possibly need downstairs. The nespresso machine was a real luxury too!

"Love the location and stayed in 7 last year."
House was well equipped and very clean and presented to a very high standard. Only disappointment is the sofa which looked shabby and was creaky and uncomfortable. Also a full length mirror would be useful.
-
"Beautiful location, especially for walking the coastal path."
-
"The towel rails were turned off and being linked to the heating system no idea how to turn them on."
We had a couple of cold nights and the heating in the lounge and upstairs is set at 21 and cant be overridden which is rather annoying.
-
"Lovely house with stunning views."
Such a superb location.

"Just a few small things would make a huge difference Toilet roll ..."
Just a few small things would make a huge difference Toilet roll holders Towel/gown hooks Just small things but you really miss them
-
"The door to the rear bedroom would not shut No toilet roll holders Sofa was really uncomfortable to sit on"
-
"Fantastic holiday let - high spec / fully kitted out - exceeded expectations Location stunning!"
-
"The internet was the worst I have ever experienced, I had some work to do for work so ended up using the noisy restaurant opposite which wasn’t ideal."
...you should not advertise internet if its this bad. Several Speedtests showed download was less than a 1mps.
We are so sorry to hear that you had issues with the broadband speed during your stay at 4 Ocean Reach. We've not had any previous issues, and when tested by our maintenance team recently all was working fine. We can only assume that there was a network problem during your stay. We hope that despite this, you were able to enjoy your holiday in Devon Property Owner

"We had a fabulous stay at 4 Ocean Reach - it was our second visit to the property and didn’t disappoint."
The house is beautifully furnished with every creature comfort you could need. The views out to sea are just stunning and it’s such a peaceful location, with some great walks on the doorstep. Thank you - we very much look forward to returning!
-
"A well equipped, clean property with beautiful views."
The sunsets were stunning. The coastal path was on the doorstep and even the stormy weather couldn’t hamper our spirits.
-
"A frying pan was left in a greasy and dirty condition in the kitchen."
We had to call you out as balcony door was stuck open.
-
"Fabulous accommodation in the perfect location!"
We will be coming back again
-
"Recommend the exceptional location of this property - stunning coastal walks straight from the door and love that a beautiful house like this is dog friendly with the contemporary decor kept spotlessly clean."
Having the great restaurant a stone’s throw away was an added bonus. Really enjoyed our stay and will be recommending to others. The only thing I can think of to improve it would have been an added personal touch such as bottle of wine or scones and clotted cream etc on arrival as a few other places we’ve stayed at have done this and it’s a great touch. Otherwise can think of nothing else that could have improved our stay - it was a beautiful place and the setting has to be seen to be truly appreciated.

"This cottage was extremely comfortable with all the facilities you require for a restful holiday."
The setting was perfect, so peaceful and the views fabulous to wake up to. The beds and all linens were of a high quality and thoughtfully furnished rooms. It made an excellent base for touring South Devon.
-
"It did say that it was dog friendly, but this particular home did not have the garden fenced off, so we could not let our dog out on it’s own."
Would have rated it higher otherwise.
