  • "The booking was easy, it was a lovely holiday let Bev & Geff were very welcoming and such a sweet little spanial puppy, Everything was thought of and the fresh eggs, bread, biscuits etc was a lovely touch especially the wine x i could not believe how clean it was being on a farm and with having dogs staying and how luxurious the bathroom and kitchen was."

also having two entrance into the garden was a big plus as was wet when i stayed so meant i could clean dogs off in outhouse before allowing them in the house. the garden was big enough for my two labs to run around in and very secure, and to top it off the alpacas as your neighbours and the views where breathtaking even on the wet miserable days and too see the ponies roaming around was lovely. i have told all my friends/ family and will definitely book it again in a heartbeat its my new go to holiday / distress plaice for me. hope to see you soon x

About the location

WITHYPOOL

Exford 3.3 miles; Minehead 14.4 miles.

The village of Withypool has a remote, upland character and is surrounded by open moorland. Most of the village lies on the north side of the river and follows the narrow roads along the valley contours. The traditional buildings are wrapped in lime washed rendered stonewalls with slate roofs, adding to the sense of character. Within Withypool, there are the local general stores/Post Office, and tearooms. There are excellent short and long walks in and around this destination, including the Two Moors Way that passes through the village. One of the most popular walks is a four mile riverside stroll to Tarr Steps, with wonderful scenery. Close by, the picturesque village of Exford is situated in the heart of the Exmoor National Park. In a charming setting by the River Exe, Exford boasts a village green, tea rooms, a shop, Post Office and two traditional inns serving excellent food and drinks.
