  • "Rockland House is the most beautiful property we’ve stayed in."

It was clean, well equipped (the kitchen has everything you could need) and comfortable. Luxury’s like the hot tub, the outdoor areas for eating and relaxing, swingball, the comfortable lounge with huge TV and reclining chair all added that bit extra to turn a great stay into a fantastic stay. The welcome, including box of treats, from Sam was much appreciated after an 8 hour drive and meant we could enjoy a cup of tea. A glass of fizz and some delicious scones without needing to get back in the car for supplies. It was our first visit to Devon and the location of the house was perfect for a number of attractions. The steam railway, Greenway House and the Waterpark at Paignton were all great. Me and my son saw Torquay United on Saturday which was a lovely afternoon. We also made the most of Brixham itself in the lovely clear water at Breakwater beach and a swim in the seawater pool is a must. The Golden Hind is a fascinating visit (especially with a History Teacher in the family) and we also had a lovely evening meal at Le Petite Maison. Fish and chips, sweet shops and Richmix Records (if you’re a vinyl enthusiast) are all on the doorstep as well as a well stocked spar just around the corner. Thank you for a perfect holiday, this won’t be our last visit!

We are truly thrilled you enjoyed your stay and the area. Thank you. Property Owner

  • "Lovely comfortable house that is well equipped and well located."

Hosts made themselves available but we did not need them as everything worked. To make it perfect the house could do with another toilet as one shared bathroom/toilet amongst 5 guests was a little tricky

  • "This property is really wonderful!"

It was perfectly clean and very well equipped with good quality accessories. The whole property is beautifully presented and the hot tub is fabulous! Sam, the owner, was extremely friendly and very helpful. We would absolutely love to visit Rockland House again in the future. Staying here really did make our family holiday special!

Thank you for this fabulous feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Property Owner

  • "We stayed here August 2024 and we were blown away with how lovely the house was."

Everything was utterly spotless with all the amenities you would need! The hot tub was new and we enjoyed it every day, the owners checked on it every day to make sure it was clean, and they were on the phone if we needed them. The only thing I would say is due to the nature of the entrance it isn't accessible for wheelchairs, unless they are lifted over 2 steps. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to spend time just 5-10 minute walk into the beautiful fishing village of Brixham. You can find shops restaurants bars and food outlets. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Thank you for your lovely words. We are so glad you enjoyed Brixham and what Rockland House offers. Wishing you well. Property Owner

They thought about everything to the welcoming hamper to the blankets on the sofa. The place us big enough that you are can retreat in your own space and recovery for lunch outside. As amazing place and well located.

Thank you for this wonderful review. We are pleased that you enjoyed the experience at Rockland House and hope to welcome you back soon. Many thanks. Sam and Anton. Property Owner
