"Hi there, we had such a magical stay at the house."
It's brilliantly set up for families and we so appreciated spending the festive period there. Sure we'll be back again. Thank you also for all the festive decorations, we had bought our own tree not thinking for a second you would have gone to that effort, so that happily stayed in the car! Parking was also a godsend and amazing to have space for 3 cars. Couple of minor points - no hot water in shower (very tepid) in back bedroom, tv didn't work for most of the stay due to bad signal (we're not TV people but we felt bad for people who might have wanted that, esp at Christmas!), lots of noise bleed from top bedroom to twin bedroom which is due to floorboards - they look beautiful up there but carpet prob a better option. We also forgot our portable speaker and recommend putting in a bluetooth enabled speaker/hifi, rather than ipod dock. Hope this is helpful. None of it took away from such a brilliant stay and rest of the house's facilities and comfortable furnishings and style.

"Wonderful for a winter stay we even had snow!"
Fab beds and bedding, and masses of hot water for showers. TV a bit hit and miss but we took DVDs Sitting room a bit tired and dull, kitchen fab a wonderful space to relax in. We would highly recommend it, not suitable for anyone with walking issues,

"Have been twice now to the property and love it."
Will be coming again next year too. Good location wonderful views and very comfortable house. Thank you.

"We love 2 Hadleigh Terrace and have been 4 years running and other years before that, having found the ideal house for our family."
I do have a few comments and suggestions to add though. 1.My daughter and her son are extremely allergic to feathers and would love synthetic duvets in the rooms, or at least the option, rather than having to bring their own bedding. 2.The television, particularly in the living room is very unreliable and sometimes it is difficult to get any stations at all. We have commented on this for several years, when all that is needed is a booster router, which we believe would solve the issue. 4.The locks on both the downstairs toilet and the bathroom in the attic, do not work. 4.As an elderly person I would really like a handrail on the other side of the staircase, or failing that, a hand rail on the other side that does all the way up to the top of the banister. Apart from that, we are very grateful for the goodies basket and the milk in the fridge on arrival

"We loved our stay, the house was fabulous and great for our family get together, our grandchildren did not want to go home."
It was well equipped and furnished to a high standard, could not wish for anything more, thank you.
-
"We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at what my Granddaughter called, the 'Holiday House'."
The property was everything we expected and we very much appreciated the well equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting room, with games and large dining area. Our bedrooms were light and airy with great beds and bathrooms. We loved the location, that is only a few minutes walk into the town, with a fabulous coffee shop practically on the doorstep. We will definitely be booking to stay at this property in the future, and once again, Lyme Bay Cottages arranged everything perfectly.

-
"Only that the front door was very stiff and hard to open/close."
We had a brilliant time and loved the spacious and comfortable house.

"Our second year staying at 2 Hadleigh Villas."
Fantastic house, great view, parking for 3 cars, and good location for walking down to the town, beach or park. Have already booked for next year.
-
"This was a really lovely place to stay with comfortable spacious rooms."
We were a family party of 7, all adults, and managed to be both together when we wanted to, or to retreat to the privacy of our rooms if that was what we preferred. The kitchen had all that we needed and the table was big enough for our meals en famille. The weather wasn't especially great, but had it been warm and sunny we would have enjoyed the outside space as well.

"Really lovely property all high end equipment in kitchen."
Great location and good parking. Really easy to walk into centre, beach and Cobb. We used terrace as weather amazing wonderful views. We had top bedroom we opened curtains and balcony doors what a view out to sea. Would go back again.
Thank you for your kind comments. The owners maintain the property to a very high standard to ensure their guests have a fabulous holiday. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

"The house was lovely and in a great location."
Our only issues were as follows: 1) initially we had booked a date in June, but due to family circumstances had to change this to May. We nevertheless had to pay the June tariff rather than the cheaper rate for May, and also had to pay an admin charge to make the change 2) the Internet did not work in the house, and could not be fixed by your maintenance engineer. My son who had joined us for the week, but needed to do some work one day was forced to go to a Costa cafe to get some wifi 3) the provision of toilet rolls and dishwasher capsules was very meagre and we asked for some more, which were provided to us, albeit reluctantly

"Fabulous accommodation, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
A useful addition would be a few board games and perhaps some DVD’s given the lack of smart tv and very limited tv channels.
-
"We spent Christmas in this fantastic holiday home, which has every comfort considered and provided."
A superb location in the centre of town with only a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend and we’d love to return during the summer months so we can take advantage of the balcony patio with it’s wonderful view of the coastline.
So glad you had a wonderful Christmas and thank you for your feedback . Property Owner

"I left a note re."
the following minor maintenance points: 1. Gutter above back door blocked, so rain falls on you 2. Table lamp to left of fireplace not working 3. The collar on the kitchen tap worked loose. I tightened it as a temporary repair 4. The push-button flush in the downstairs loo doesn't always return to its correct position, so the cistern keeps running

"Enjoyable stay with plenty of room for the seven of us ."
House is well equipped , lovely towels . 10 minute walk to beach so didn’t need to drive . Only one wheelie bin and nowhere to put empty bottles !! Lounge door bottom hinge is very loose .
-
"Excellent property and location."
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, Lyme Regis is a lovely place. Even the weather was much better than forecast.
-
"2 Hadleigh Villas is beautiful."
Very spacious and better than we expected.
-
"House was ideal - spotlessly clean on arrival, great views and good location."
Especially liked the comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and parking for our 3 cars. Only slight negative is there are no recycling facilities at this property. Just one black bin which was already half full when we arrived. Otherwise - fantastic, and we have already booked again for next year.
-
"There was no shaving socket in the top bedroom, a parasol for the outside table would have been appreciated, no chairs in top bedroom to sit on balcony, plus if there was a fire how would the people in the top bedroom escape i could not see any fire drill procedure any were."
regards Derek.

"Excellent location with everything only a short walk away."
The house was perfect for a group of 8 and a baby. Lovely sea views and very comfortable rooms. We had stunning weather and would have enjoyed a BBQ if there had been one otherwise couldn’t have been bettered.
-
