• "We had a lovely stay at Seaglass."

  It's a great property, comfortable, cosy and very well equipped. Parking space was also very handy. Short downhill walk into Lyme Regis but as previously stated its steep on the walk back so may not be good for people with mobility issues. It wasn't a problem for us. Really nice welcome pack too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and we'll definitely be back.

• "Property was well laid out and very clean."

  Decorations were bright and modern with a local twist in some of the paintings/maps and objects around the apartment. Having said that the approach to the entrance was rather disappointing with very little colour and lots of weeding necessary. The hedge around the car park area could also do with a trim to allow more view of the beautiful coastline to the left of the property. There was also a rather unpleasant smell in the bathroom. We used bleach in the toilet which removed some of the smell but something maybe the toilet brush, air freshener or jost sticks did not seem to blend well!! Needs investigation. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay.

• "The property was really tastefully furnished and presented."

  The facilities provided were very good. However, the place smelled stale on entering.There was an unwashed grill tray in the oven containing rancid fat which I had to wash. The lounge area had not been dusted/ cleaned. The surfaces were grimy with dirt and dust, as were the pictures. The throws and cushions smelled and needed a wash. The floor beneath the sofa was covered in dust and bits. The rug was also very stale and dirty. The quilt on the bed was old and the pillows either hard and lumpy or flat . In the bathroom there were wall fish ornaments which were thick with dust. It seemed that the basic cleanliness had been attended to ie. the kitchen and bathroom general areas but the rest neglected. It did not spoil the holiday but we will not return to Sea glass because of this.

  We are sorry to hear the level of cleaning at the property did not meet expectations. We have asked the housekeeping team to ensure the areas you mention are followed up on as we strive to ensure the property is well presented for all our guests.   Would have great concerns about the front door doesn't really secure very well especially this time of year and had lots of service around it would be a thief's paradise should really be double glazed still open and the area outside in the garden and the patio needs a very good clean and tidy up

• "Lovely accommodation with everything we needed."

  Unfortunately the position of the property did not suit us at all as it was situated on a very steep hill which was not explained on the description. Had we known we would not have booked it. We had to leave early because we could not manage the hill every day.

• "Sea Glass is very comfortable and well-equipped holiday accommodation."

  The welcome pack was generous and very much appreciated. The climb from the seafront up the hill was short but steep. We found the parking area awkward at times, depending on how many other cars were parked, but we coped. We would recommend Sea Glass.

• "Excellent property to stay in for a holiday."

  Very convenient for local shops and seafront. Flat has recently been refurbished so very clean and fresh. Also lots of personal touches with tasteful decor making it very comfortable. Good parking next to entrance door. We have stayed in this apartment several times over the past few years and will probably be back next year. Only negative, the bed settee in lounge is a little uncomfortable to sit on. Armchair is great though..!

• "Very impressed with this property."

  Beautifully furnished, well-equipped and very clean. One small thing that would improve the facilities - a draining board rack for the washing up. And it would have been helpful to have been sent the parking information before we arrived. It is displayed in the property, but we didn't see it and inconvenienced other users of the car park.

• "Had a wonderful holiday - again, at Seaglass, having stayed there several times now."

  Great cottage for two in a good position within the town. Not too far from the centre as to require Sherpas to assist in getting home after a great meal in town. Highly recommended

  The small apartment was beautifully presented and exceptionally well supplied with everything we needed, with good instructions and information on places of local interest. We were grateful we only had our small car, as parking and manoeuvring was tricky in the confined parking area. We would love to stay at Seaglass again.

• "We absolutely loved our weeks stay at Sea Glass, a beautiful property that has everything you need for a wonderful holiday."

  Very tastefully decorated and comfortable for just the two of us. The property was very spacious and the outside space was a plus. Just a short walk to all the shops , restaurants and pubs and of course beach. The parking space is also very handy and we parked up and never used our car with lots to entertain us in Lyme Regis. The welcome pack was a lovely touch full of produce from the local area. We would definitely recommend Sea Glass to our family and friends and would stay again. Thank you.

• "A charming, comfortable and well appointed accommodation."

  Sea Glass is the perfect base to enjoy a relaxing break in and around Lyme Regis. Its located a couple of minutes from the main centre and sea front. Upon arrival we were not disappointed with our choice and a lovely surprise awaited us - a welcome bag which contained the essentials to quickly unwind from the stress of travelling!! When we next stay in Lyme Regis Sea Glass will be our first choice.

• "Recycling waste in holiday lets is never easy, but the addition of an extra bin for recyclables would be useful."

  The location of Sea Glass was excellent allowing us to walk to all LR's facilities

• "Beautiful apartment, quality fixtures and fittings."

  Superbly maintained and immaculately clean. Very nice welcome pack. Just a short distance from the town and good parking right outside our door. The only criticism we would make is that the bed was too firm for our tastes and the sofa was uncomfortable (hotel beds are usually too firm for us). We had a great short stay and would recommend Sea Glass.

• "Such a lovely property, everything that you would possibly need and more."

  It’s rare to find somewhere that feels homely but whether it was enough pots and pans or books to read, Sea Glass had everything. We loved the fact the owners had written about their favourite walks and things to do. It wasn’t just lifted from a guide book!

• "We loved staying at the Sea Glass, it was about a ten min walk away from the beach."

  The accommodation was decorated and presented in a sea theme with a few fossils thrown in for good measure. The welcome package was a lovely surprise also. We would love to come back soon.

• "We loved staying at Sea Glass."

  It's so comfortable, in a great position and has parking too. It was a treat to have a dressing table with a view and a mirror and power socket handy too. There were loads of hangers in the wardrobe so no putting three shirts on one hanger this holiday. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting room also. We have booked it again for next year already!
