  • "This is our 4th or 5th time returning to sublyme and we would definitely return again."

It’s a lovely clean flat in a great location and the owners are really accommodating. The welcome package or prosecco, milk and biscuits adds an extra touch.

The location was perfect with Lyme Regis and the area being great places to explore

  • "We needed somewhere close to the beach and ideally near the shops for our stay in Lyme so this was the perfect location."

A quaint little flat with all the amenities needed, our stay was simple but lovely. Really appreciated having access to tools we could use when hunting for fossils as they were expensive (and heavy!) in the shops so having them at the property was super helpful. The fold away camping chairs were a bonus too and very handy on the beach. A lovely little stay, thank you!

  • "A wonderfully clean and well equipped apartment with everything you need."

Lovely to have milk in the fridge on arrival as well as delicious cookies and the bottle of fizz.

  • "The flat is incredibly noisy, all through the night."

The bed is not only uncomfy but very small. We had said we were four but nobody had made up the sofa bed. The smell when you enter from the street is disgusting because it seems bins are kept right there in the hallway. Surely that’s illegal on a health and safety grounds?

Thank you for your feedback although we are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. The apartment is in the main street in Lyme Regis, Broad Street, which is shown on the website images. Where more than two guests have booked, we do not make up the sofa bed prior to arrival as guests can sit down and use the sofa but a full set of bedding is provided so you can make up the sofa bed at bedtime. We are sorry that you found the mattress to be uncomfortable. The mattress is reasonably new and other guests have noted in the visitors’ book that they have had a good night’s sleep, although appreciate that this differs for everyone with some preferring harder mattresses, and others a softer one. The refuse for guests staying at Sublyme is collected by the council 3 days a week, so there should not have been a build-up of uncollected rubbish providing the instructions for putting the rubbish out had been followed. We will check with the council and other flat owners to see whether there was a problem with collections last week. Property Owner
