  • "We had a lovely stay in this comfortable house."

The entrance to the parking area was a little scary but we made it!

  • "Wonderful property in the heart of Lyme Regis."

Clean, easily accessible and comfortable. We had a wonderful time as a family of four (two adults and two kids). Highly recommended!

  • "Excellent property, I think it would be enhanced by a parasol for the patio."

The showerhead needs descaling otherwise very clean!

  • "The property was in a great location, quiet and just off the main street and a couple of minutes from the seafront."

Beautiful views, great local shops and beach with areas of sand, pebbles and fossils. House was clean, good size for a small family with all we needed. Thank you for a being a great base for our break.

    Thank you Property Owner

  • "Undercliff is a lovely cottage - really well situated and a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Lyme."

The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay there (apart from the narrow entrance which you had clearly warned about but was worse than anticipated) and regret leaving to return to stifling heat in London.

  • "Positives are the location and comfort."

Negatives are the lack of toilet paper and the duvet cover for the double bed didn't smell clean

Thank you for your comments. We supply a starter amount of toilets rolls (2 per wc) as it is a self-catering holiday, so apologies if these were not left out for your stay. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "We have just got back home after a fantastic week in Lyme Regis - Undercliff was the perfect base for us, it was comfy, clean and an amazing location."

I loved being able to see the sea from the main bedroom window. Having the outside space was a huge bonus with two children! One thing that could be improved is the location description - the shop listed is no longer there and it would have been helpful for the full address (56 Broad Street) to be mentioned.

Thank you for your comments. We have revised the travel instructions accordingly. We're so pleased that you had an enjoyable stay. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "Overall very comfortable and pleasant property."

All in order and clean when arrived excepting the water heating not working. Issue was resolved within the hour very satisfactorily by the Lyme Bay holiday team, great service! Despite a dispute over the booking between the property owner and Sykes Holidays on the second day of our stay we had a very pleasant stay at Undercliff.

We were pleased to be able to assist you with the hot water problem and hope you enjoyed your stay. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "Additional blanket or throw for the bed would help as some nights during the stay were a bit cold."

It was not evident how to use the central heating. Otherwise this was a very clean, tidy and well maintained property with well equipped facilities. We had a very comfortable and relaxed stay here

  • "Really nice property in a great location, really close to cafes and restaurants, the mill area and the beach."

Access to the parking is indeed very tight (as stated on the listing) and not for the feint hearted but my husband managed it in our seat arona. My only critcisms are that the house has quite so many air fresheners leaving quite a strong artificial fragrance in the air.
