"We enjoyed our stay in the lovely cottage, lots of character in a truly rural setting."
Sat nav was our saviour in finding the cottage and we congratulated ourselves in doing so. The owners were adjacent and were very hospitable and helpful. The wet weather prevented us investigating the immediate area at first but improved allowing us to visit Tavistock, the Moors and nearby National Trust places of interest nearby. All worthwhile seeing in relaxing settings with of course the mandatory tearooms.

Beautiful surroundings and great owners. Thank you.

"Enjoyed our week in Dunridge cottage lovely peaceful setting but not to far from shops and to revisit Dartmoor after many years ."
Left early to drive home overnight to avoid long delays with road works ect but would stay again next time we visit Devon. Lovely tasty eggs left for our arrival.

"Absolutely amazing place."
Very very quiet and peaceful, away from everyone. We loved it.

"Had trouble finding the property but probably more down to my satnav rather than the directions given."
The listing states there is a ground floor bedroom which there is not, luckily we are both mobile enough to get up and down the stairs.

"This is a perfect property if you are travelling with your dog."
The cottage’s own enclosed, pretty, garden and run in the property’s grounds are great. On arrival the owners were very friendly and helpful - the fresh eggs and dog treats were appreciated. The cottage was clean and well equipped although a hoover and mop would have been useful…..I don’t like leaving muddy pawprints! Wi-Fi was a bit patchy as was mobile service, so unable to do any work from there, but, after all, you are on holiday and the smart TV is good! The main bedroom is large and very comfortable. The location is gorgeous, very quiet and peaceful. Would I go back? Very probably.
Thank you very much for the feedback, we have been working on the WiFi this week, should hopefully be better. would be great to see you again. Property Owner

"Lovely little cottage attached to the main house."
Good base for walking the moors and visiting other places. Two spacious bedrooms and a conservatory where the dogs slept. Pleasant owners and plenty of eggs available!

"We had a lovely stay at Dunridge, was so relaxing there feeling away from everything listening to nature (except for the driving down the narrow roads!"
). Ross & Rosie (and the dogs) were such friendly & attentive hosts, we were made to feel very welcome. Ideal for walkers you dont even need to leave the grounds of dunridge!

About the location
HORRABRIDGE
Tavistock 4.5 miles; Plymouth 11.5 miles.
Horrabridge is a charming riverside village located within beautiful Dartmoor National Park in Devon. The River Walkham, well known for its salmon fishing, flows vigorously under the village bridge, which is said to be the oldest in West Devon. An excellent base for a holiday in Devon, Horrabridge has a combination of olde-worlde charm and modern facilities, including a good pub near the river and a selection of small shops. There are many excellent walks starting from the village, taking you up onto Dartmoor and providing you with glorious views of the surrounding fields and hills where sheep and Dartmoor ponies gently graze. The market town of Tavistock, the main town of Dartmoor's western moor, is an exceptionally attractive town, owing much to fine Victorian architecture and its picturesque location on the banks of the River Tavy. There is no shortage of shops and cafes in Tavistock, plus the town is home to the purpose built Pannier Market - a must for every visitor.
