  • "Wonderful clean, tidy and comfortable cottage in a peaceful setting."

Only comments would be a pair of oven gloves, a list of nearest supermarkets, hospital, vets, fuel etc and garden isn’t enclosed as per listing, if your dog is the exploring type then it can get out by side of cottage and next doors dog ( not owners ) got in a few tines by the hedge and side gate round the back to pay us a visit.

  • "We had a lovely week."

The bungalow is lovely there are a few things that need sorting to make it 5 star. The garden needs secure fencing. Standing in the rain trying to get my dog to toilet isn’t happiness. The shower in en-suite needs replacing. The bungalow is only clean not spotless the main bathroom shower wouldn’t drain away because of the amount of hair in the plug. Sofa hadn’t been moved in ages. Tub chairs and sofa very uncomfortable. TV needs main reception internet tv poor.

The bungalow is listed as a 4 star with Sykes. The garden whilst enclosed is not secure enough for your bouncy Airedales and this I believe was the main cause of your dissatisfaction and poor review. The bathroom screens were replaced last year and received a general uplift and redecoration. Our attentions were directed to the kitchen which was completely replaced with modern effective quality appliances. I will address the cleaning issues but we were on site during your stay and would have been happy to rectify any problems immediately for you. The TV reception was due to a faulty aerial connection and is working fine again. Broadband is fibre to the bungalow. Property Owner

  • "The property is lovely, if you are a Telly fan the signal is appalling and pixelates a lot so take your iPad."

A welcome tray would be appreciated after a long journey, but other than that can’t fault it.

We have taken your constructive suggestion on board and will supply a little snack in the future. The TV reception was due to a faulty connection in the attic and has now been rectified. Apologies. However, there is fibre broadband to the bungalow and the App on the Smart Sony TV works well. Apologies for any inconvenience. Property Owner
