"What a lovely barn conversion, beds super comfy, showers fab, and general over all amazing."
Owners are so kind and helpful, on hand if you need anything. Stunning area and easy to visit all areas of Devon. Sondog friendly, the amazing paddock is just what the fur babies need after a day on a lead, to let all that energy go. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

"Perfect cottage to just unwind, It has everything you need and great for our dog Meg."
We would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks for the very warm welcome .
-
"Comfortable beds; very secure area for dogs (complete with dog bowl!"
). Nice hot towel rails. Central 'island' very convenient. Both induction cooking and microwave very easy to use. (Some microwaves too complex; this one just right). Had to be careful accessing the book shelf.

"Perfect place for bird, deer, nature watching and dog walking."
Secure patio area and doggy paddock for dog and plenty of hot water and heating to look forward to when you get back. Walks from the doorstep so did the walks suggested and mapped out in the guest folder. Superb welcoming basket and milk on arrival and Linda and Roger were the perfect hosts with any queries. Accommodation was first class, beds were large and very comfortable so early nights beckoned!! Lay in bed, watch the stars and listen to tawny owls right outside, then get up early to listen to the deer. Counted 14 different birds in the garden but favourites were the Goldfinches and Bullfinches in the teasel!! Just what we came for !! Thank you.

"The property is absolutely fantastic the location is great tiverton a short drive for your shopping and a part time pub with food next door but one."

"Lovely stay at Quoit X barn."
Our dog loved the dog paddock. Well maintained property. Well stocked kitchen. Lovely extras: homemade cake, jam, biscuits, dog treats. Outside area is wild/ agricultural/ a bit scruffy. Main bedroom bed very comfortable, second bedroom bed not as comfortable but ok. Situated in lovely rural village, wine tasting on site/ next door. Vineyard visit and wine tasting highly recommended. Owners dogs a bit noisy at times.

"Quoit Barn is wonderful, cosy, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped."
Linda and Roger are so friendly and on hand if needed. Thank you for the very thoughtful welcome pack. In a peaceful village setting, friendly locals. Just a short stroll to the village pub or cricket club where you may see a local match. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Plenty of space, comfortable beds, the kitchen was well equipped and we weren’t short of anything we needed. With the added bonus of good weather we couldn’t have asked for a better holiday.

"We had a wonderful stay at the barn."
It really was like home for us. With the benefit of the real fire and the Everhot oven it was very cosy and comfortable. The dogs enjoyed their stay despite the weather ! And the location was great

"We struggled to understand the workings of the cooker, after a long day travelling it took forever, but , that was just a glitch."
Very bright and airy, maybe a baking tray would have been helpful but it didn't take away from the setting
Thank you for your feedback. We have taken your comments on board and do hope to welcome you back. Property Owner

"It was a very clean and equipped property with everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable."
The owners were always on hand to help if you needed anything .Our only issue was the secure garden ,our little jack russell juke managed to escape a couple of times ,if the lower part of the fence was like the upper part there would have been no problem.

"Had a lovely time the barn suited us down to the ground, great welcome basket the out side area was great for our dogs."
Lots to do close by and some lovely walks.
-
"We had a very comfortable stay here."
Linda and Roger are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. We very much enjoyed our basket of goodies left for us. The dogs made good use of the paddock area. We did manage to sit out on the patio in the sun one afternoon as the weather was fairly kind to us.

"We found the property owner very helpful & accommodating, the place was spotless and the tray of biscuits, cake & local apple juice very welcoming plus the extra special touch of a packet of dog treats."
-
"As per listing, everything up to expectations."
Comfortable barn conversion. Unfortunately weather not very good so didn’t try the walks. Welcome pack, extremely nice lemon cake and biscuits. Homemade marmalade superb. Just one tiny requirement perhaps a mirror and chair where I could put on my makeup and do my hair, but I managed ok.

"The barn and the owners were lovely."
Everything would be given 5 star if the outside space had been correctly described. We had 2 dogs with us and we had to put them on leads to go out. The courtyard wasn't secure however the owners put round some chicken wire when we complained but a bit was missed. The so called "paddock" was a patch of grass with paths which took about 3 minutes to walk round ( we expected a field) and the 'woodland walk" also took about 3 minutes. Both of these facilities have been exaggerated and we wouldn't have gone there if we knew about the outside space. The barn itself was beautiful. Thankyou to the lovely owners for making us so welcome. Freda and Ros .
Thank you very much for taking the time to comment, we’re delighted to know you had a good holiday and we’re so pleased to know you felt the barn was lovely. We’re sorry though to hear you felt the outside space was exaggerated. The ‘paddock’ is a great facility for pet owners to use being only a few yards from the barn but we do agree it isn’t large which is why it’s described as a paddock rather than large field. To help reassure future visitors we’ll look to get a photograph of the space added to the website as soon as we can so that everyone knows what to expect. We’re happy that you had a good holiday overall and we do hope we’ll see you again in future! Property Owner

"Absolutely beautiful cottage."
Loved our stay which was just what we wanted. Step off the world for a while and leaving the timetable behind. Excellent base to travel out and about if that's what you want to do and even though we had fantastic weather, it would be really cosy in winter to.
-
"A comfortable, warm and spacious site which, in a cold wet week, we tested to the full!"
It came up trumps. Lovely surroundings too.
-
"Very clean and very comfortable."
Owners are very nice people. Nice to sit outside and both dogs were worn out by the time we went home.
-
"We loved the barn and the owners were lovely people would recommend to all"
-
"Very nice cottage just opened in March 2022."
Extraordinary kitchen equipment. (Ever-Hot-Cooking is not easy to use! 118 page instruction-book with the text: "It will need several days to find out the correct settings for your cooking activities."). Very clean rooms and furnitures. Very friendly hosts Linda and Roger. Easy handling for access. Both sleeping rooms with ensuite-shower-bath are very comfortable. We used the cottage as base for our trips into Devon and to the coast line.

"Just a couple of things that would make it better for the ladies is a mirror in the bedrooms and a wardrobe for to hang clothes in."
The owners are very nice and obliging and very helpful very nice people.

"We had a wonderful week at Quoit X Barn."
Beautiful accommodation in a very peaceful and tranquil setting. Lots of nice walks in the vicinity and also further afield in Exmoor and surrounding areas. The Barn was so comfortable with excellent amenities and a lovely unexpected welcome basket. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Bampton is only a few miles drive and has some very nice pubs, cafes, bakery and two small spa supermarkets. The pub two minutes walk from the Barn is very friendly and serves meals, check opening time’s first though. The Doggy Paddock adjacent to the accommodation was ideal as it allowed our dog to be off the lead. We would recommend the Barn to anyone who is looking for a beautiful quiet retreat. We certainly hope to return in the near future.

"We have had a superb week here, despite the rain!"
Equipped and a really lovely welcome basket, thank you. The paddock was a great asset for the dogs - especially the puppy. Tarr Steps, Bampton and Dulverton were lovely places to visit. Thank you for making us so welcome - would hope to come again
