Nature Reserve and Woodland
In early July 2018 the owner of the Valley View Farm has been trying to attract a wider range of fauna and flora with water, additional nest boxes and trying to enhance the natural habitat for the benefit of all, including the guests.
Even though the property has been home to animals and plants for many years, the owner is making this a paradise for wildlife even on a higher level.
She is planning to install cameras so that the guests could experience wildlife from the comfort of the armchair, some kind of ‘Spring Watch’.
Jill, the owner, hopes that the guests will enjoy using the area and even try and make a camp or something similar.
With many branches and plenty of dead vegetation that might help with building works, that’s an ideal place to enhance your bush craft skills.
The owner has checklists and clipboards if you wish to take this seriously and see what you can spot!
It may encourage future guests to take upon a challenge and tick off sightings of their own.
