  • "If there were a problem one look off the balcony and all would be forgotten!"

The flat was exactly as described and as seen in the photographs. The chairs were comfortable and made viewing of the the ocean a real luxury. The all important sleep zone was a lovely and comfortable bed with a cloud soft and super snuggly duvet. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with practically everything that you'd need. Sadly the only negative was the dishwasher being Out of Order with a Do Not Use sticker on it. (Not an inconvenience for us) Ilfracombe was a delightful town with some fabulous walks, great beaches and lots of the friendliest, helpful shop and eatery staff around.

Thank you for the lovely feedback. So glad that you liked the apartment. It is a magical place being so close to the water . On your point about the dishwasher. The dishwasher is unfortunately out of action and rather than there being a big gap it is left in situ. We have made a point in the specification that there isnt a dishwasher provided so it is an honest description. Property Owner

  • "The view from the balcony over the sea gives this property the wow factor."

The property owners have put much thought into what’s provided in the apartment even down to a good pair of binoculars to view ships and birds. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we were very impressed, so much so that we have booked another stay in July. The owner was very helpful with useful information prior to our arrival.

Thank you for your feedback. We find it a magical place to stay. You can’t get much closer to the water without getting wet! Property Owner

Well equipped and comfortable. Brilliant position. Stunning view of course but we liked proximity to Harbour and Capstone Hill and other facilities in Ilfracombe.

  • "The apartment is in a beautiful location with stunning views from the back."

Ideal for 2 visitors, a wonderful spot. The bed is comfortable and clean and the settee is one that can be well settled into. The balcony is a great spot to listen to the sea, drink a coffee or eat breakfast. Highly recommended. Ilfracombe is also a little gem. Something for everyone to do.

  • "Lovely flat with the most amazing views."

Great to have such a generous balcony, that is covered, to experience it from. I sat on at least one occasion watching the sea at night with a glass of wine as the rain poured but remaining dry. Excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful

  • "The cottage was lovely except for the balcony which was dirty with seagull droppings and very old furniture."

Everything in the cottage was lovely except for sofa which was old and saggy and uncomfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we got a really good night's sleep. The cottage had everything we needed and we had a nice break.

The seagulls are a coastal feature and although the balcony is cleaned weekly, they can still present an ongoing annoyance. Whilst not to everyone’s taste, the outdoor furniture was craftsman built and provides a comfortable resting place to enjoy the spectacular view or an al fresco breakfast. The duck down cushion fill on the sofa occasionally needs plumping up and the two swivel armchairs provide a very comfortable alternative. Property Owner

  • "What a lovely apartment with everything that could possibly be needed."

The balcony and the view was breathtaking . I had spoken to lesley and she was so nice and thoughtful, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful holiday let to anyone and we will definitely be back. The parking was the only issue gut we were lucky to secure a disabled space for the whole week

Thank you for your review we are glad you had a lovely break at Vals Seaview. You are most welcome to return . Property Owner

  • "Lovely views and central location."

Very warm and comfortable with all mod cons provided for. Didnt use the dining room as wanted sea view, would've put the table over looking the view and not the back street. However we sat on the balcony and had tea using the lap trays.

Thank you for your feedback , glad you had a great time at the apartment. Regards lesley Property Owner
