"Great place to lay our heads."
Fully equipped kitchen, perfect location for some beautiful walks, very close to woolacombe and Ilfracombe.
Only downside was the kettle, couldn't have a cup of tea due to the coating of limescale in it. This is literally the only downside, lovely stay in coombe martin, very quiet area and even though the weather wasn't on our side we still had a great stay. The chalet itself wss equipped with what we needed for our stay, tidy, few cobwebs (cant be helped), little complimetary box of teas, coffees, and other useful bits on our arrival. A detailed information pack aswell which was great.
Would definitely stay again

"Falsely advertised, when booking is stated parking next to the lodge, this has since been changed to designated parking in a car park."
This was extremely important for me when booking as I have an electric car, and charge it with a slow charger while away. Arriving late at night to discover this wasn’t ideal at all. The reception team were rude when asking for an additional dog towel. It didn’t state on the booking dogs couldn’t be left, this could’ve been a huge inconvenience when I was down doing wedding stuff. On leaving at 9.55am I received a call telling us check out was strictly 10am when it was obvious we were loading our car to leave. And to top it off they make you discard your bin bag at the top of the hill on the way out, is this not a job the cleaners normally take care off?
I am so sorry and disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay here at Manleigh Park.
On our website and Sykes website it clearly states that the allocating parking is provided, we do not provide charging points here for cars. Our warden though did provide you with local charging points when he asked you to move your car as you were illegally parked and blocking the road, causing health and safety issues.
We provide a maximum 2 dog towels for our guests as 2 dogs are maximum that we allow.
On your booking form you stated you had 2 dogs yet on your arrival we discovered you had 3. I am also sorry that you thought I was rude, however I was talking to other guests when you came in and interrupted us, I explained I was on my own and that I would get a dog towel to you when someone was back in, which we did 10 minutes later.
I did have to address your dog’s off the lead issue again as we had asked you a few times during your 2 night stay about this, as it is park rules and in the booking terms and conditions that ALL dogs must be on a lead in the public areas on park, this is where is also advises you that dogs cannot be left unattended in the chalets.
The phone call on check out day was not actually from the park, it was from Sykes directly. I believe the conversation was not regarding check out but asking you to move your car, as yet again you parked blocking the road where we asked you not to the day before blocking people and causing a delivery not to be delivered. As you had not listened to us previously regarding this issue and the dogs of leads issue, we asked Sykes to call you as they are your booking agent.
Lastly the bins are at the top of the park to stop the smell, noise and pests from being around the chalet. Our cleaners do an amazing job which is in all our reviews state this.
If you were unable to take your bin yourself as your drive past them on your way out, if you asked, we would have taken this up for you.

"We stayed here recently."
The chalet was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome pack with a few dishwasher tablets and some washing up, tea coffee sugar and milk was a really nice touch. The whole site was clean and well maintained. Its placed an excellent spot to be used as a base to travel around. There is a small children's playground but I would say that young families and/or older families with no children would love it there as its quiet, peaceful and set in stunning surroundings. It's not necessarily a place most teenagers would love due to the lack of WiFi and being a small site. However phone signal coverage was very good. We would definitely come back. It was perfect for us and our two dogs.

"Lovely welcome, very friendly, clean and well equipped."
Beautiful views, quiet, a short walk from pubs, amenities, beach. Had a wonderful day walking from Lee Abbey to Lynmouth, and also to Morte point for a stunning view of the wonderful Woolacombe Beach, Lundy Island and surroundings. Coombe Martin is a beautiful location, with good pubs (Pack o' Cards). I would definitely consider staying again. Thank you to Kelly and her team.

The chalet was furnished really well and had a lovely decked balcony area with stunning views. The chalet was clean and it was nice to have the welcome parcel with milk in the fridge. It’s easy to get to the local beaches and walks. Would definitely stay again in the future.

"So - the last one is only cos I moved as there was a leak and there was no issue with moving or the new chalet so perhaps I've been unfair with that."
I loved staying here, friendly and helpful - thank you.
Only feedback is really minor and Kelly (I think!) and I talked about it - USB plug sockets which you are upgrading and a hook for the towels over the end of the bath for ease ... and a microwave food cover ...
Thank you again - I will be back!

"Beautiful quiet location about 20 minute walk from Coombe Martin."
Its a wonderful base for exploring north devon -20 mins to lynmouth and woolacoombe by car.
The chalet had picturesque views of the open Devonshire countryside with a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy on an evening. Adjacent is a huge field where you can let your dog run around and play safely off the lead.
Inside the chalet was cosy, spotlessly clean and everything you would need for a self catering stay.
Owner/manager Kelly was so sweet and on the last day we went to check out, she said we could stay an extra night if we wanted too which of course we obliged as we didn't want to leave! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay we will certainly be back again in the future to visit this beautiful part of Devon!
