"Hillsview is a lovely property, clean, well furnished and good size for a large group."
Elevated position looking out over Combe Martin and within easy reach of other North Devon towns. Highly recommended

"It was very expensive compared to other properties we stayed at in May half terms but wasn’t as comfortable."
We found all the external doors hard to open plus some windows. The key safe was very difficult to use. The wooden floors were slippery and our four year old grandchild slipped and cut her lip. The stairs were slippery too. I would definitely recommend taking good slippers to wear. There were no bin bags - luckily we had something suitable for the kitchen bin but not the food bin, which we put out on the correct day but it wasn’t emptied - there was another there with flies so obviously that hadn’t been emptied for a while. There were lots of toys for the children to play with which was good. The kitchen was nice and well equipped We left on the Wednesday morning - two days early.
Dear Mrs Safar Thank you for the feedback and we are saddened that after two years of lettings, it’s our first review which isn’t five star. Sorry about the outside bins not being collected on the day you were expecting; we only imagine that the Half Term bank holiday disrupted the normal schedule of collections. We will also speak to the turnover team, as black bin liners are routinely supplied (under the sink) for all our guests. Given your feedback, we will look at replacing the key lock box. Lastly, we are sorry to hear about your grandchild’s fall and wish her a speedy recovery. Very best wishes, Tom and Laura Property Owner

"A beautiful home from home."
Felt at home as soon as we walked in, The views were spectacular especially from the living room and the front bedroom windows. The welcome pack of bread, milk and jam was lovely, Oh the jam was amazing!! (Would have ordered a couple of jars to bring home if it had of been available to buy). The bedrooms are all spacious and so comfortable too. Had an issue connecting to the Wi-Fi gave them a call and was sorted straight away. Such a lovely place to stay I would 10/10 recommend this property.

"The photos don't actually do the property justice, it is bigger than the photos show."
The property was clean and everything you would require in a home from home was provided. Lovely welcome touch with the bread and jam.
