"A lovely property in a great location for the beach, promenade, pubs, shops and all local facilities."
Being a ground floor apartment the view of the sea is limited by the boat yard in front, but as the beach is only 150 yards away from the property it doesn't really matter. We had a great time in a very nice and well equipped property.

We did struggle abit to operate the heating and the Television but Otherwise a lovely property in a great location!

Note that whilst it’s a ground floor apartment there are a couple of steps up to the house itself and up to the kitchen within the apartment. We had a lovely time.

The chimney roars with noise whenever the wind blows , as it was windy it was unacceptable, not a difficult fix , block it Tv has child lock requiring a code which is not supplied and when I called the office they said they would obtain it , they didn’t Bed duvet will I believe be delightful in winter but it is far too heavy for this time of year The fan in bathroom only operates when light is on, there is no overrun to remove odours , so light was left on

Apartment is in a fantastic location right next to the Cobb. Very spacious and well laid out with everything you could need. Comfy beds and a very nice relaxing feel! Would definitely stay again.

"Being very close to the cob this property is ideal for a family wanting to use the beach."
It works well for us as my husband doesn’t like walking up hill and can get to plenty of pubs that serve food and some shops by walking along the sea front. Car park space is very close by. Outside seating is ideal in good weather.

Great shower in bathroom! Kitchen & all equipment provided for a convenient stay. Good to be able to walk out of the front door and be close to the Cobb and quay. This is one of the best places we have stayed in Lyme and great to have a parking place. I have been visiting Lyme regularly since staying as a child with family - I remember the first landslide! We had a lovely week; first weekend sat out in the sun on the patio for lunch! Wind and rain did not detract from our enjoyment (expect some bad weather at this time of year). Thanks to the owners, the housekeeping team - we would like to return asap!

"All lovely apart from the beds."
They were so uncomfortable, rock hard mattresses with springs sticking in your backs. Also a loud humming noise (fan?) in second bedroom, all day and all night.
We're delighted you had a great stay. We have now replaced 2 of the mattresses with brand new Emma mattresses, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Regarding the humming, this is coming from the property next door. Property Owner

"First rime in flat one."
We changed from flat 2 for this year as last year both our husbands were ill. Unfortunately both our husband have passed away, so it was good for us both to be in a different flat this year, it worked out really well for us. We enjoyed being in flat one - it was just right for us this time. We always enjoy being in Lyme, it's our favourite place. Cob View is in just the right place, near to everything you need.

Level walking to main town locations and beach front. The correct amount of kitchen utensils and equipment all of which was clean and up to date. Good quality bed and bedding. Certainly one to revisit.

Only a short walk from the famous Cobb harbour and beaches, 1 Cobb View is a wonderful seaside apartment resting in a great part of Lyme Regis, Dorset, and is perfect for families. Enter this wonderful flat and relax in the spacious sitting room, with tasteful décor to remind you that the sea is only a short walk away, as well as huge bay windows filling the space with light, quirky striped curtains, and a fireplace.
