    "Such a lovely stay, but please can you make people aware of the height of the beams in the flat, for my 6’4” husband it did involve a lot of stooping."

    Definitely not the owners fault but for 2 nights in a row we didn’t sleep well due to karaoke night at the pub across the road and then a loud private party/disco at a neighbours house the following night Everything else was perfect

    "Great location for beach and restaurants, as already mentioned by others, parking is expensive, top car park us free after 6, harbour after 9 at least you can rebook online, you can unload outside."

    Comfy sofas and bed, partial view of the sea, although straight on front are some scruffy windows and rooftops from the pubs opposite, nice and quiet, but noise from flat below in the evening and morning, probably their tv. Lighting along footpath to door didn't work and shower drain very slow, maybe blocked. Door to flat is a bit uninspiring, in need if some tlc, and no mirror in the bedroom! Also wardrobe very snall, not talk enough for dresses. Balcony is nice for fresh air, but a bird flew in one evening, took us an hour to persuade it to leave

    "Very happy with our stay although I would point out a lot of the dining out recommendations in the info folder are out of date as a fair few businesses listed have closed."

    Also, the Rockfish - an excellent nearby restaurant is not listed at all. Also, coming from a city I had no idea what a “gull proof sack” was or where it could be found therefore I didn’t put out the rubbish for fear of it being attacked by gulls although I did place it in the purple bags and sealed it inside the apartment. Also the note about placing towels and bed covers in different coloured bags - I couldn’t find any such bags. Finally, parking is obviously prohibitive and costly so I would suggest prospective tenants need to factor in £80-90 extra for a weeks stay. Very pleasant stay and would definitely book again.

    Just one constructive point to pass on is that more mirrors would be helpful. There's nowhere to see your complete outfit once on, and nowhere to dry your hair whilst looking in a mirror.

    "We had a wonderful stay at Kittiwake!"

    The flat is very comfortable and everything we needed was supplied. The location, close to the Cobb, can’t be beat. The neighbourhood was quiet and walking distance to the beach and all of Lyme Regis. Would definitely recommend this property!

    "Excellent location, lovely light apartment with everything you need for self catering."

    Partial views to the sea and harbour which is a bonus. Parking was a bit of an issue as very expensive daily rates at car parks.

    "Fantastic location just moments from the beach and the apartment was well maintained with all the facilities we needed."

    Lack of parking and low ceilings not ideal for the taller guests (!) but aside from that it was a lovely apartment and we had a great stay.

    can see club flag pole form one direction and beach and waves from the other. Narrow steep stairs so not suitable for some. If over 6ft 2in might find the beams a problem. Loved it

    "The property was good and well stocked with cutlery."

    The sheets on the bed were very annoying as they did not fit the mattress they continually came off throughout the night which made sleeping very disturbed. I would suggest buying sheets that fit the depth of the mattress.

    So sorry about the bed linen I do have sheets to fit unfortunately they must have been put on the wrong bed I will make sure the cleaners are aware of this. Property Owner
