"We loved our stay at The Dairy."
It had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Very clean, and easily the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! The location was perfect for us. Very quiet with great views. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, countryside and coastal. Jane and Mike are lovely, there to help with anything we needed. We highly recommend a stay here, we certainly hope to come back! X

Located on the outskirts of Malborough, an attractive village in South Devon (AONB) is The Dairy, a delightful annexe, inviting two guests.
Featuring original features, a woodburning stove (starter pack provided with further logs available to purchase on site), and a terrace with a bench and table and chairs for alfresco dining whilst enjoying the far-reaching countryside views, The Dairy makes the ideal base for a romantic getaway, whilst also within proximity to the shoreline.
Travel down the narrow country lane to reach the private driveway, before ascending the steps up to The Dairy.
Be welcomed into the homely, open-plan living space, complete with plush seating, a TV, a rustling woodburning stove, and a small kitchen area, perfect for preparing a light meal.
Watch the sun set over the Devonshire countryside from the front terrace, with a tipple in hand before retiring to the comfortable bedroom, with a sumptuous super king bed, ample storage, and an A-framed ceiling.
Refresh in the sleek shower room ahead of a day of adventure, firstly grabbing a bite to eat at The Royal Oak, stocking up on the essentials at a nearby convenience store, or heading to Salcombe to dine out at a host of eateries including the Crab Shed, Winking Prawn or trying your hand at distiling your very own gin at Salcombe Gin distillary.

There are stone steps to the entrance of The Dairy which may not be suitable for less able bodied guests. Unfortunately dogs are not permitted due to this property being a smallholding with some livestock and the owners having a dog.
The owner's property is adjacent to The Dairy.
Hardstanding for a small boat/trailer is available on site for a daily supplement.
Starter pack for woodburning stove provided, extra logs can be purchased direct from the owner.
The lane leading to the property is rustic, narrow and somewhat uneven in places, please drive slowly and carefully.
Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.

It is located just 2 miles from the popular sailing resort of Salcombe, the southernmost town in the South Hams. Boasting a beautiful, scenic coastline, Salcombe is ideal for enjoying sailing, watersports, coastal walking or for simply soaking up the sunshine. Observe the plentiful wildlife in the area, visit several country houses and gardens close by or visit the lovely market town of Kingsbridge. Alternatively, explore the wide open spaces and rocky tors of Dartmoor, just 15 miles away. A perfect holiday location, with much to see and do.
