  • "Beautiful cottage and garden."

Lots of extra touches such as a freshly baked loaf, fresh flowers and warm welcome made this a special place to stay.

  • "An absolute gem of a property."

We stay at many cottages during the year, but this one must be the best. Absolutely spotless, everything you could need. Beautiful gardens maintained by the lovely lady owner who lives next door. Never intrusive but there if required ( an 11pm hassle with boiler sorted out) a welcome pack of so many things, but the fresh flowers in every room and homemade bread were a lovely touch. A lovely rural location but quite central for travelling around Devon and surrounding areas !!

  • "Beautiful ancient property with lovely gardens that run down to the river."

Fabulous birdwatching spot- we saw nuthatches, woodpeckers, goosander and dippers with a plethora of garden birds. Very well equipped and comfortable.
