"Our second stay at this lovely property and hopefully not our last."
Scrupulously clean, warm, welcoming and beautiful views too! Bed we find very comfortable but the settees slightly uncomfortable but hey! - sit in the window and look at the view!! Everything provided including a welcome pack.
We are so pleased that you enjoyed your second stay. We do hope it won't be your last. I'm sorry you don't find the sofa comfortable but there is a second one which is very comfortable. And the view is amazing! Property Owner

"The apartment was lovely."
Great views and a good location in town. Th apartment was sparkling clean, all the items in the kitchen were top quality, bed linen was beautiful. Our only issue is with the parking which we realised might be a problem but it was worse than we envisaged. The free parking did help though.

"Lovely accommodation in beautiful setting."
Very spacious but also cosy and warm when required. Maybe slightly dated but scrupulously clean and would have no hesitation in recommending.

"The apartment was excellent."
Beautifully presented, spacious, meticulously clean and well stocked . It was close to the centre of Dartmouth so not necessary to use the car. All the arrangements for picking up keys etc were well arranged and the staff were very helpful. Altogether an excellent holiday despite varied weather.
Thank you for taking the time to comment, it is much appreciated. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay in the flat. We hope that we can welcome you to the flat again soon. Property Owner

"The house was spotlessly clean and surprisingly large for what is essentially a flat."
The facilities were brilliant, like a home from home; everything you could need was available. The view from the front window was just what we wanted and despite it being on the road, it wasn’t too noisy. No negatives to report, we will definitely be returning and hope it’s just as lovely as the first time.

"Very cosy and comfy with a mesmerising view."

"First-class accommodation everything you could possibly need was supplied, spotlessly clean, the view over the dart breathtaking and so interesting with all the shipping coming and going."
The Art and antique shops really good for browsing, eating facilities first class, "maybe a little pricey" but good food, the only problem was parking, the car parks being absolutely full most of the time. The river and railway excursions an absolute must!. We are hoping to visit next year, fully recommend your company, and the staff in the Dartmouth office, who were excellent

"Had a very enjoyable stay, probably one of the best equipped holiday lets that we’ve stayed in!"
A couple of (very minor) suggestions, i hooks on the bedroom door would be very useful and a waterproof bath mat in the shower room would solve the problem of getting the carpet wet after a shower!

"We have rented several properties in Dartmouth over the years & this was by far the best for location, value for money & facilities."
The kitchen is very well equipped & the beds very comfortable. The view is lovely & we had no trouble finding a parking space.

"Generally, very good, but the bathrooms and some furnishings are dated and jaded eg."
the large sofa cushions have lost their shape and become too hard to sit on comfortably. The modern kitchen is very well equipped and the riverfront situation is very convenient with striking views.
Thank you for your feedback all comments are welcome, we will pass this on to the owner. we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in Dartmouth and we look forward to welcoming you back to the area again soon. Property Owner

While you stay at 18 Southtown, why not visit Dartmouth Castle, a 14th century fortress overlooking the entrance to the Dart estuary.
It has a 15th century gun tower, the first purpose-built coastal artillery fort in Briton.
It is a stunning piece of architecture which has stood guard over the harbour protecting the town from invaders for over 600 years.
A large iron chain used to stretch across the entrance to the harbour from here to Gommerock Castle on the Kingswear side to prevent any invaders sailing up the river.
In 1620 the Pilgrim Fathers set sail from nearby Bayards Cove.
Dartmouth also played a part in the civil war and remains of fortifications from this period can still be seen at Gallants Bower above the castle.

About the location
DARTMOUTH
Totnes 12 miles.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.
