"Well appointed everything supplied is of a high standard."
We would have appreciated a non slip mat for the en-suite shower as the tray was very slippery and as older clients with some mobility issues we both felt slightly unsafe. Overall the property suited our family situation well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Lovely property, so we'll equipped."
We had a fantastic week here so comfortable, thank you!
So happy you enjoyed your stay Kaye! Thank you for the lovely feedback. Property Owner

"Property was very nice and well equipped for a large family."
Only criticism is the downstairs bedrooms were cold and felt a little damp at times, we couldn’t figure out the heating for these bedrooms or the downstairs bathroom. Would also be useful to give more details about the walk to the house being very steep and the roads are not suitable unless you have a small car. Parking is also a nightmare and had to keep moving the cars between park and ride and street parking.
Typical English summer needing the heating in august! Sorry you had trouble with the heating. The heating is brand new, installed this year, with digital thermostats on all radiators as well as an overall thermostat in the kitchen . If the radiators in the bedrooms weren’t heating up it would be because one or both of these thermostats were set too low. … and yes, it’s called Above Town for a reason! Staying anywhere in Dartmouth certainly keeps you fit. Property Owner

"Lovely property, just what we wanted, perfect location."
Would definitely visit again. Avoid the street parking, we used the park and ride and got the bus back in.
Great to hear you enjoyed your stay Joanna, thank you for the lovely feedback, really appreciated! Also great you have left some parking help for future guests. We also usually find available free parking on Jawbone Hill. Property Owner

"Lovely house but needs a vacume cleaner."
For a property that sleeps eight and is over three floors one dustpan and brush is really not enough. I couldn't clean the carpets as well as I would have liked to.
Thank you for your feedback David, apologies there is a vacuum cleaner but it had been accidentally locked away in our owners cupboard during your stay. I will ensure it is available for all future stays. Property Owner

"Could do with more specific information on rubbish/recycling etc."
Having stayed in lots of holiday homes this is usually the case, we recycled in the car park opposite M&S , but didn’t know what to do with the ‘black bag’ rubbish. Lovely view from the top floor!
Thank you so much for your feedback Michael, apologies this wasn’t clear. We will make sure this is better shown in the information pack for future guests. We love the view from the top floor too! Property Owner

About the location
DARTMOUTH
Totnes 12 miles.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
