"Only suggestion would br there was 6 adults and the lack of space for seating was a issue a slightly bigger sofa would be good."
Also some pint glasses wouldn't go a miss and maybe a bit of a tidy up on the little patio at the back. Also the bedroom window at the front you can't open so got very warm.

"A lovely house in a great and quiet position - literally 2 mins away from the high street."
Lots of good pubs, shops and restaurants nearby, We had a couple of maintenance issues which were sorted out the same day by the company while we were out of the house, so that was great. It's a very homely property, very welcoming. The only things I would suggest for improvement are a) none of the windows at the front of the house open and b) the terrace could do with a bit of tlc.

"A beautiful holiday home in a beautiful part of the country with exceptional views looking out to the river dart."
This home had you needed for a pleasant stay. Being on three floors it was quite spacious. Loved sitting outside on the terrace for breakfast watching the boats and the steam train across the river at Kingswear. We left some playing cards for the property as we love a game of cards and that was the only thing that was missing! Lots of lovely local restaurants on your doorstep and picturesque places to walk too. I would definitely recommend as this was in such a great location and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we came back to the area.

We particulaty enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with it's glorious views across Dartmouth and down to the estuary.

"Overall very nice property ."
..good location for town apart from the hill

"The cottage had everything we needed and more."
We spent most of our days out and about on the water but it was a lovely going back each evening to the cosy cottage and comfy beds. It’s positioned perfectly within walking distance of the town and the car park a short walk. A great cottage thank you!!
-
"Though the listing states the property is on a steep and narrow hill, we didn’t expect it to be that steep."
-
"Had a great stay."
Comfortable beds. More than enough towels provided. Got really really fit from all the steep up hill walking. Absolutely loved the position & views. Will definitely recommend it! Thank you

"We had a great stay at Crowthers cottage."
A very cosy place to spend a few days. We would definitely recommend to our family and friends. The cottage had everything you could need. Beds were very comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. Great location. We kept the car in the Carpark so had some great post Christmas workouts walking up and down the hill. Found a flight of steps that made it a little easier too. Would love to come back for a second visit.

"A very comfortable and cosy home that was extremely well kitted out."
We were delighted by the kind Christmas hamper. Thank you, we had a lovely stay.
-
"An absolutely stunning property in a beautiful location, plenty of nice places to eat nearby and gorgeous views."
The facilities are perfect, we were a family of 6 and the layout was perfect for us. The hill really is a hill but don't let that put you off.

"This was a lovely cosy cottage with lots of quirky features."
Comfortable for 5 or 6 but be warned the stairs are steep for young children or frail or vulnerable adults. Beautiful views over Dartmouth town and harbour. The cottage is accessible by a very steep and narrow road for unloading and loading luggage but otherwise leave the car in the town car park. We kept ourselves fit walking up and down the steep hill to the shops! The cottage is just a short (steep) walk from the town centre where there is loads to do for all ages: steam train trip, lots of boat trips, museum, escape room, a wide choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes. There’s also a very nice heated outdoor swimming pool and a very nice indoor pool and gym at the leisure centre. Lovely walks with superb views. A nice walk or boat ride to Dartmouth castle and the coast. The castle is managed by English Heritage and there are activities for all ages and it’s well worth a visit. We loved Dartmouth! A friendly, peaceful and pretty town.

"Loved our stay, the cottage was great."
Staff were very efficient & helpful when we had a query. Can’t remember if the listing mentioned how steep access to the cottage is, which might have been a problem for others?
-
"This is a delightful cottage with wonderful views of Dartmouth."
Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. We will be back to visit again.
-
"Lovely cottage and exceptionally well stocked."
Comfortable beds and clear instructions on how to use appliances and I enjoyed my stay there. However, although we were made aware that the area is hilly, I feel that it might be appropriate to say that it and the property are not really suitable for elderly or disabled.

"A wonderful cottage well equipped and a beautiful location with good views."
It was a shame the loose toilet seat was not fixed when reported. The courtyard could be improved for a nicer seating outside.

"The cottage was home from home the beds very comfortable well equipped everything you would need lovely decor enjoyed every minute of our stay the area was very quiet and friendly lots of lovely place local to eat out, lovely walks on your doorstep Would definitely return and recommend."
