"Our second stay in Juniper Cottage and we loved it as much as the first time."
The views are amazing and the house has everything you need, including plenty of hot water for the showers. Well equipped and well maintained. The only challenge is getting the car up the road to Above Town for unloading and loading, other than that it’s excellent and highly recommended.

"We had a lovely holiday in Dartmouth."
Juniper cottage was a fantastic place to stay. It was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The whole house was exceptionally clean. Everything that we needed could be found inside. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well except on the first night when we were woken very early by gulls. We bought some earplugs and the problem was sorted. The house is in a great location, it's a quiet residential area but only a short walk down to the shops and pubs. Above all the view was amazing and we spent a lot of time looking out of the window and watching the boats. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

"Really nice property, largish space, beautiful sitting area with river and town views, has everything on hand you could need."
The steps and steep roads are worth it for the views from the house. Best to unload quickly outside the property and grab the parking permit from inside the house, then go to the mayors avenue car park and leave the car there for as long as you need. We found working out where to park and for how long difficult to assess until a holiday maker next door to us explained.
Its a shame the main shower was out of use for our stay.

"Fabulous cottage, views."
.... very comfortable and thoughtful touches throughout. The only problem we had in the house was the fridge - door shelf for bottles and icebox door both faulty - which was a bigger deal because it was Xmas. Also very narrow and steep and then gets steeper on the bend road up to cottage and only parking every now and then for unpacking/packing. However these problems were soon forgotten because the setting was so charming and magical with the Xmas train of lights tooting in the distance every night.

"We had a lovely week in Juniper Cottage."
The cottage itself was superb, clean and warm with everything we needed for our stay. The location and views from the cottage are amazing, we will very likely be back. We have stayed in Dartmouth about15 times and this is perhaps the best place we have stayed.
Thanks for the sparkling wine to kick off our stay, a lovely touch. A couple of very minor possible improvements would be to add a whisk and an ovenproof Pyrex type dish to the kitchen equipment list.

"Beautifully styled, homely & amazing views."
All appliances are of high quality, loads of utensils, crockery & cutlery. Good location. We stayed a week & there was so much to do in & around Dartmouth we didn’t use our van for 5 days. Very dog friendly. Have recommended to others & would come back again.

"Lovely cottage and beautifully appointed with everything you could want for a very relaxing holiday."
Very comfortable beds and overall, super clean and well maintained. It is situated Above Town, so be warned, the walk back to the cottage is pretty steep - but it has superb views as a consequence! We had a great time revisiting all that Dartmouth and the surrounding area has to offer. Can highly recommend Juniper Cottage.

"Fantastic Christmas stay at juniper cottage."
Welcome hamper left by the owners and Christmas tree in the lounge immediately made us feel comfortable and welcomed in this beautiful property.
All facilities modern and easy to use, with minimal instruction required. (There is however an easy to follow set of instructions for heating and kitchen appliances if required).
Fantastic views down to the river and beyond to Kingswear with Dartmouth centre just a 5-10 min stroll away.
Netflix on tv, good WiFi, endless positive reasons for staying here, no negatives.
Slight issue with upstairs shower resolved very quickly by the managing agent.
Will definitely return in the future.

A lot of thought has gone into the detail, beds very comfortable, plenty of books to read, as well as the generous welcome gifts. A great stay, look forward to booking again.

"The cottage was everything we hoped for beautiful inside & tastefully decorated."
Had been equipped with all we needed. The beds where super comfy & the towels provided very good. Lovely outdoor space to enjoy a glass of wine day/evening. We would definitely recommend & look to return a again in the future. Thank you

"Absolutely loved our stay."
Everything in the cottage was excellent quality, a welcome basket and fresh milk and orange juice were provided, as were washing tablets, dishwash and candles, and bbq coals.
It was like staying at a friend's house, except tidier!!

"Wow! What a fantastic holiday!"
The cottage was amazing and the town of Dartmouth is equally as amazing! The cottage was a stones throw away from the centre of Dartmouth with plenty of lovely places to eat (especially the local fish and chip shop - the wheel house - seafood platter was especially delicious) and lots to do (the train ride and ferry trips were a definite highlight and would highly recommend)
Both teenage children thoroughly enjoyed the stay too. The cottage was immaculate and definitely had a high quality feel, with no expense spared. The only thing is this holiday as spoiled all other holidays, as the bar is now set super high!
We will definitely be back in the future

"What a beautiful holiday home."
Very high spec and all the facilities we needed. We arrived late so the welcome gifts were much appreciated. Stunning view. We enjoyed exploring Dartmouth and it was lovely to be staying there with it all at hand. Really rate the house highly - really clean and such a high standard.

"Well, we are definitely fitter for staying at Juniper Cottage!"
The climb to the property was so worth it (away from the traffic) and the views over the river to Kingswear are magical!
We’ve had a very comfortable stay at the cottage; fine quality beds, well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa and chairs and the welcome gifts of Devon goodies were an absolute treat, thank you.
We loved the town also; lovely independent shops including the bakeries, butcher and the fresh local fish from the market is out of this world!
We have had a super stay at Dartmouth, we will be back!
