• "This was our second stay at Leeside."

  It really is a little gem. Firstly the views are unbeatable. The property as a whole is wonderful, has everything you’d require. Plenty of space. The washing machine is a huge bonus for us with the children. The garage is a slight squeeze but wasn’t an issue for us. Can’t wait to revisit again in the future.

• "Just back from a super week in lovely Dartmouth."

  Leeside apartment was perfect. Very clean , comfortable and apartment had everything you needed for a weeks self catering holiday. The view of the River Dart was beautiful from the apartment front window. Benches just over the road from Leeside along the River to sit when ever you like at watch the River folk do their thing on their boats. All rooms in apartment was decorated tastefully and comfortable. Beds in both rooms were great , plenty of storage in bedrooms. Shower was a little weak but that would be my only criticism. WiFi is 100% in apartment and was up and running all the time. Leeside is a very sort walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Garage was a welcoming addition,tight fit but pull your wing mirrors in and your in. Agent in Dartmouth was very accomodating as we arrived early in Dartmouth . Would recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a lovely holiday with a beautiful view.

  Very well decorated and clean. Everything you could possibly want and lovely views. The only thing I can think of to improve would be the shower. All lovely though, and my friend and I would love to come next year.

  Everything in the way of kitchen equipment is there. The only drawback is the small distance between the bed ends and wall in the second bedroom and the wooden slats of the bed sticking out.

  Everything was clean and well maintained, with perhaps the exception of using the shower. The bath mat can on occasion slip and great care is needed getting in/out, but that was minor to all the other advantages the property offered. Thank you.

• "Loved the apartment and the artwork and furnishing made it comfortable and very homely."

  The two things that would not stop us from returning but may be an additional improvement are: coat hooks and not having the stick out 'bars' on one of the single beds - we kept bumping into them. It is great having the washer dryer because interestingly, the clothes were difficult to dry otherwise. It is a wonderful place and I am certain we will return. Every one of us loved our stay. Seeing the river and the steam train is such a treat.

  Well equipped and cosy . Great to have off street parking - we just squeezed our Peugeot Partner into the garage. Worked well for two couples and do much to do out of the door without using the car .

• "The property is a great location with a wonderful view."

  A bit of information that some people may find useful that I drive a 2012 C class Mercedes estate and that just fits in the garage, and I can only just open the door and get out. Anything bigger you will struggle. I'm 6tf and average weight. Hope this helps.

  Icing on cake would be Wi-Fi but would highly recommend. Would be helpful if instructions for heaters could be left in flat to save a trip to Sykes office who asked ‘were we cold’.

  The flat is very well equipped and it was spotless on our arrival. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. If I were to be critical, I would suggest the sofas could do with replacing as they were looking a little jaded and worn. We will definitely be coming back to Leeside in the future.

• "This flat is fantastic in so many ways."

  The location is second to none and the accommodation is plenty big enough. There are some issues that need addressing by the owners though. WiFi is needed. We took our fire stick to watch programmes from as I hadn't noticed beforehand that there wasn't WiFi. I havent come across holiday accommodation yet that doesn't have it. Not to worry we'll watch the new dvds I bought... No we won't, as the dvd didn't seem to work. Ended up buying one in Argos but it turns out it must have been the TV as the players worked in the bedroom as did the connector they had brought. The master bedroom needs some TLC. The mattress felt old and lumpy and the smell of mould was overpowering, which seemed to be coming from behind the wardrobe. We had the window open all night so it didn't seem as bad. BUT... It was a lovely flat in the most amazing position so maybe don't let the negativity put you off.

• "Many good things about the property, however, the main bedroom felt musty which meant we moved to the twin bedded room."

  No green waste bags were provided. The DVD player did not connect to the main TV - the maintenance team came but could not resolve the issue. The corner lamp in the lounge flickered when it was tuned off. The garage door would not close properly with the remote control, it would start to reopen when almost closed.

• "We love Leeside, we have been before!"

  It is in a superb location with fantastic views, you could sit all day just watching the activity on the river. It is always so clean too and we try and leave it exactly as we found it as we really appreciate the effort made to present it so well. The shops are only a few minutes away and M & S Simply food 200 hundred yards away. We only used our Kia Picanto car once (it fits in the garage) and got around by boat and bus which are just a few minutes away. There is everything to hand at Leeside and you could just sit all day and take in the view from the big windows but we did get out and about and went to Brixham, Bigbury on Sea, Dittisham and Dartmouth Castle ... we have previously visited the National Trust houses which are all excellent and of course the 'Round Robin' day trip is great too. The local shops are excellent and the Friday market is worth a visit. There is still more for us to see and we will be back. Many thanks to the owners for letting us stay at their lovely property.

• "Fabulous apartment in a fabulous position in Dartmouth."

  1st time visit and will def look for this if we return. Garage is a great asset as long stay parking in central dartmouth is not good. Our car (seat ibiza estate) fitted in fine but quite tight width wise. Apartment is very comfortable with excellent quality fixtures and fittings. Bed was very comfy. So lovely to sit at the table - rain or shine - and watch the comings and goings along the waterfront. A definite 'must' for a return.

• "We had never visited Dartmouth before as Fowey was our favourite destination but Dartmouth has exceeded everything and we loved it."

  The apartment is top class and just minutes away from the Ferry, the shops, the bus stop and M & S Food Hall all on the flat and easily reached. So many lovely restaurants too, the list endless. The garage is small but we parked our Kia Picanto in it so no problems there, in fact we did not use the car for 4 days as getting around by boat etc was so easy. We had glorious weather but if it had not been so good we would have happily lazed around in the apartment and watched the activity on the river as it was just bliss. As all other guests have mentioned Wifi would have been the icing on the cake but I managed! We hope to return next year as it is bye bye Fowey, hello DARTMOUTH!

• "This was our fifth time in this property and we will possibly be back next year."

  For the location to the town and the views over the river from the kitchen and two windows in the lounge, you could not wish for anything better. The choices of places to eat is great. You have pub food or Taylor's standard and others in between. The choice is yours. The car can be left in the garage and you have a choice of bus , ferry and steam train all within easy reach. We had a fabulous two weeks covering the Regatta again this year.

  The apartment being just a 5 minute walk into town. Despite a garage being available it is only suitable for a small car as clearly explained on the apartment web site, with this in mind and 24 hour 7 days a week parking within Dartmouth town proving difficult I did make advanced arrangements and parked my car in a private park. unfortunately adding to the cost.

• "The property lacks WiFi."

  We could not get to grips with the operation of the radiators. The space at the foot of the beds in the smaller/twin room is inadequate, requiring whoever is using the bed nearest the window to reach it using a sideways shuffle. The view from the living room is spectacular !

• "We had a fantastic 5 night break."

  The property was in an ideal position on the river front. Great views from the lounge. A short promenade walk to the town centre. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything you needed. Well set out and fantastic art work. Recommend visits to Agatha Christies house and Coulton Fishacre. plenty of restaurants and places to eat. Really lucky with warm sunshine all week. Also recommend visit to Blackpool Sands. Tank you.

  The main sitting room was light and modern. The bathroom and loo were a little small and poorly lit. Bedrooms OK. very clean. I would certainly recommend Leeside and score it very highly for location and views.

• "Leeside was an excellent place to stay and was very comfortable and spacious and very well equiped to a very high standard."

  The views out onto the river just a few feet away and across to Kingswear were fantastic. Shops including Butchers and Bakers were only five minutes walk away. Parking was a small garage at the rear of the property. Our Renault Clio did not leave much room to get out of the car once parked but it was ok. A larger car might have trouble Overall I would give this property and Dartmouth 5/5

• "Warm, comfortable, clean spacious flat in superb location, but garage was too small for our car and therefore we had to park on the road - not a big problem in the winter, but would be in high season."

  Well equipped, but would have liked wifi in the flat and an electric shaver point in the bathroom. Also as we were there for Christmas, a small tree/decorations would have been appreciated. But thank you for the wine and fudge!
