"The property was good, except for a few issues: the sink kept blocking, and we needed to use the plunger regularly."
The fridge did not keep the food properly chilled and several items went off. The bathroom lock was very stiff and if you didn't manage to lock it, the door would sometimes swing open. The door of the bedroom with the double bed didn't close properly. Also the chairs in the garden were covered in cobwebs and had to be cleaned before we could use them.
Thanks very much for your feedback, we just spoke on the phone so I could clarify some of the issues you mentioned and I’ll now send round the handyman to fix everything you discussed. "The cottage was fab and I would book to stay again."
It was comfortable, with luxurious fittings and decorated to a high standard. It was located in the perfect spot - very close to all the facilities in Dartmouth but also so quiet. There were a couple of things missing that I would generally use - oven gloves and a small microwave. It was only noticeable because we decided to eat in a few times. A mirror in the bedroom close to a socket would be useful for hairdrying too. Otherwise everything has been thought of - even night lights or are they night torches?
