More space than I was expecting. Access - if you’re coming from Exeter direction, take Port Road on the right, just before Sainsburys. Taking Fore street in Kenton, your first option and the way the satnav took us, is the long way round on very narrow roads. Good array of crockery and cutlery. Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Large smart TV. Would highly recommend. Plenty of local pubs and takeaways .

"The cottage was lovely except from the small bedroom - NOT for older adults I’m afraid - the fault was the bunk bed - FAR too big for the room with a low ceiling AND could only get out one side - (ok for children) luckily we found the bed settee or our stay would of been miserable - they really should do something about that as sleeping in the living room with the stairscase leading from it to the rest of the cottage its not very convenient - also a long wall mirror is needed in both rooms rather than on the landing but that’s a very small matter - the bunk beds were a definite no no for us - if that was changed we would definitely book that cottage again."

"We absolutely loved this cottage."
Would happily stay here again. Well situated to access south Devon. Beach is only a 10 minute drive away, dawlish country park is great for walking especially if you have dogs. Torbay is within half an hour, and 20 mins to Exeter.

"Sadly my son had fourteen flea bites all over his body from fleas in the bed."
We did find one on the top bunk bed and dog hair in the sheet and sofa downstairs and we had been so looking forward to this stay
In response to your feedback we are writing to confirm that the cleaning of the property is carried out by a Managed Service team and we accredit all the excellent cleanliness reports we have to them. Please be assured that the properties are thoroughly cleaned and inspected after changeover and prior to new guests arriving. All of the bed linen arrives at the property laundered and pre-packed in bags for the beds to be freshly made up by the team who support us. "Lovely base for exploring the area , we stayed in Sawtons 2 for 3 nights."
Beautiful inside, comfortable furnishings and clean . My husband was impressed with the size of the tv and the very comfortable bed. Lovely little courtyard garden, with Dawlish Country park less than 10 minutes away in the car , if like us you need to give your dog exercise. Would definitely recommend to friends & book this for ourselves if visiting Devon again.

"Would have give this 5 star but lack of sanitising products/cooking products I."
e. no foil or cling film or worktop spray sanitisers. Also the dissapointment of the outlook at the rear of the property from the lounge and bedroom very untidy workshop and greenhouse areas which were well disguised in your promotion photographs. But doesn't detract this is a lovely recent new build property

"Fabulous cottage, everything thought of for you to be able to enjoy your stay."
Dawlish Country Park 3 minutes away for great dog walking and dog friendly beaches at Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren (very difficult with a pushchair, some families really struggled in the dunes to get to the dog beach). Mum did struggle with the height of the bath(80 years old) so that may be something to consider. All in all the perfect holiday experience and an immaculately clean cottage.

"What a lovely holiday we had with our 2 dogs at Sawtons Cottage 2."
From the minute we opened the front door we were amazed at how wonderful the cottage was, it was so well presented and modern everything had been thought about, all those little extras that make your holiday. We loved the comfort and well set out rooms we would definitely stay again. The dogs loved being there lots of places to go walking, everywhere we visited were happy to see the dogs and welcomed them. We would recommend that if you get the chance you too would enjoy your stay.

"Our stay was the coldest week this year."
Snow , heavy frost but luckily dry. We cannot fault the cottage for its warmth, and comfort There is a small concrete area at the back of the cottage with table and chairs and everything that you need that made the whole experience 10/10

A charming seaside town set on the southern coast. The town of Dawlish offers all of the facilities for day-to-day living including a pleasant variety of shops, restaurants and cafés and a small cinema. Dawlish is famous for its Black Swans that live with other wildfowl on the Dawlish Water that runs through the central town park down to the sea, at night in the summer it is beautifully lit by strings of coloured lights. Dawlish comes with a wonderful, sandy beach with a crazy golf course also nearby, it is the perfect place for a family holiday. Up the coast is Dawlish Warren that can be reached by car or train or, for those energetic types, a walk along the sea wall. Further afield, Dawlish mainline station offers access to Exeter, Exmouth, Torquay, Paignton or even Plymouth, trains are plentiful.
