  • "Converted Chapel in great location in the beautiful village of Dittisham which is very well placed for exploring The Dart and surrounding areas."

Large double height sitting area with open plan kitchen and sitting area, mezzanine floor area for study. First floor and additional attic bedroom both with adjacent shower rooms. Parking next door which is very convenient and short walk to river. Generally clean and tidy although lots of ornaments and fake plants causing a bit of, to my mind, unnecessary clutter. Our stay was slightly hampered by a fly infestation in the attic room which I'm sure will be remedied asap. Overall lovely old Chapel with modern facilities in great location.

  • "Absolutely loved the property from the moment we arrived."

It was very comfortable, well decorated, and loved the whimsical features and ornaments in the lounge and kitchen areas. There is a loo on each floor (three in total) and two shower rooms (one en suite). The kitchen is very well equipped with every utensil required. It was lovely to sit at the large dining table when we ate in, and the whole property is light and airy. The raised garden at the back is just perfect, and the adjacent tiny cemetery fascinating. One comment about Dittisham itself, is that it’s hilly and you need a strong pair of legs and some stamina to walk from the property to the jetty or local pub. We cannot praise the property more highly and would recommend it to all.

  • "Great stay, beautiful property in lovely village."

Would have enhanced our stay if a book of instructions re appliances etc was available, particularly WiFi code, heating/water, and recycling information as well as useful local places to visit etc. Folks with mobility issues may find issues here, but we really enjoyed our holiday.

  • "Stunning property but let down by some basic cleaning and maintenance."

Downstairs toilet not cleaned properly and cushions on outside seating area extremely worn and filthy. One did not even have a cover on it. But a stunning property in a stunning location. Road to property very narrow and limited tight parking space to keep within boundary.

  • "The property has been completed to a very high standard and is exceedingly comfortable throughout the interior."

Unfortunately, the outside patio was unusable due to the seat cushions having been removed and left on the wet grass. The property was spotless on arrival but lacked any welcome pack or instruction book and the usual local area information that we have been accustomed to expect. But overall an exceedingly lovely place to enjoy.

  • "We had a wonderful stay."

This is a beautiful property with great views and very well appointed. There was just 2 of us staying so we had plenty of space. I worked from there for a few days and the wifi worked perfectly for all my video calls. Some feedback/comments: - There was no 'welcome book' so we got a bit confused as to where to put our rubbish and any other check out procedures but we did find the bins by the parking - There was no iron or ironing board (didn't both us but might bother others) - Main bedroom is massive but the en suite shower does have a low ceiling (it didn't bother us because we just used the shower downstairs) - The second bedroom is quite small (we didn't use it so again it didn't both us) - We were only left with towels for the 2 of us so this meant we didn't have hand towels for all the bathrooms which was a bit annoying. - It is a steep hill to walk down to the Ferry Inn (pub), cafe and water and no parking down there so I wouldn't recommend the property for people with mobility issues.
