Price Match Guarantee

If you find a cheaper price anywhere online, we’ll refund you the difference.

Price Match Guarantee

If you find your online booking of this property through Sykes cheaper on another website and you meet the conditions below, let us know and we will pay you an amount equal to the difference in price.

Conditions:

The other offer that you could have booked on another website on the same day that you made your Sykes’ booking is identical to it – it is the same specific property, the same check-in and check-out dates, for the same number of guests and it has got the same, or better for guests, cancellation terms.

The other offer is cheaper than your Sykes’ booking when you ignore all optional extras on both and all vouchers, discount codes, gift cards, loyalty, reward or other type of membership or repeat business schemes and any generic promotion on the other offer.

Within 7 days of making your Sykes’ booking you have provided us with evidence of the other offer that is acceptable to Sykes (for example, a screenshot, print out or picture of the full details of the other offer from the point in the booking journey when all that’s left to do is pay) together with its cancellation terms.

This guarantee only applies to a property when you see it advertised on the property listing when you make your booking.

How to claim:

Send the evidence we’ve asked for above to pricematch@sykescottages.co.uk along with your booking reference.

We’ll check if it qualifies for our Price Match Guarantee.

If it does, we will pay you the relevant difference within 14 days. That’s it!

  • "The negative: The lack of space in the top master bedroom with ensuite."

My OH is very muscular and could not move or bend in the shower or space that housed the shower and toilet. To have a shower, I had to hold the shower gel for him. I am 5ft 8 and a size 10 and found it a squeeze to move around in there. The space is too tight for a shower and toilet. There is no sink in the space. You use the toilet then have to wash your hands in the shower cubicle. To clean your teeth in the master with ensuite, you have to rinse using the shower. I appreciate we need to bring our own loo roll etc, but the products provided in the kitchen were minimal. There was about 4 squirts of washing up liquid left, and the tea towel was tiny. We only came away for 2 nights for a birthday, so didn't think we needed to pack washing up liquid, loo roll and tea towels. The good: The house is tidy and compact. The beds are super comfortable (to the point that I tried to find out what the mattress was in the master upstairs as it was soooo comfy) the bed linen is nice. The kitchen is stocked well with pots and pans and the fridge is clean and of a decent size. We didn't use the garden as 2 of our party didn't come with the dog, and it was raining, but the outside space look large, but if you have mobility issues you might struggle to get to and from the deck advertised in the photo. I would stay here again but would defo use the downstairs bathroom rather than the master ensuite.

Only complaint would be the description of en-suite in bedroom it’s the smallest shower room I have ever seen hardly any room to move so much so the wife had to use the shower in main bathroom other than that very pleasant stay
