"Owner contacted on arrival as conditic of the villa(caravan) was unsatisfactor Cooker knob loose and would not go c to turn."
Unable to see if on or off. Windows we're left open? Bed was noi made up and told that in she'd behind caravan? Pillows soiled so went to supermarket and brought new. Tv did i turn on and was told broken. New one arrived next day. Carpets stained and upholstery on sofa smelling and rubbi in them. Dirty socks either side of radiator in Lounge area plus in wardrobes with dirty linen in double room. Fridge had milk in salad drawer and dirty on door inside. Towels soaki wet and left on airer in spare room. Room looked awful in there more like junk room. Hole in net curtain on patio door. Shower had black damp all arou at bottom and slip mat soiled. Overall t most unhygienic accommodation we have ever stayed in. We cannot expres our disappointment when it was supposed to be a holiday.

Just one thing we noticed was the shower tray overflowed if you stayed in the shower to long it's probably an easy fix more than likely just blocked but there wasn't a plunger so I couldn't try and unblock it myself apart from that everything else was 100%

"Caravan was in good order, and as listed, but unfortunately the cleanliness of bed linen, and kitchen was found unsatisfactory on arrival."
The cleaning had not been done.the owner when contacted was very helpful and contacted the cleaners responsible for cleaning,on arrival they were aggressive, unhelpful, rude and threatening, and denied not doing their job, even though there were dirty cups with spoons on worksurface, suger spilt on work surface,crumbs,etc..bed linen had stains and residue on them, towels were stained, rotting food in fridge, and mouldy bread in bread bin.the cleaners ignored this and denied all knowledge of this and became more agressive

"Lovely static."
Everything you would need for a home away from home. Only negative is the size of the bedrooms but that's expected in a caravan. I have to praise the owner, we had a very small issue and he visited in person to remedy it. Cannot get better customer service than that! Very enjoyable stay. I would say, the park itself could do MUCH more to encourage guests such as longer opening hours in the shop and bar, more entertainment and more gracious staff on the reception.

"Upon arrival, the parking bay was situated next to an electric box and the property in front has plant pots so it was a bit tricky getting the car into the bay every-time."
Then the front gate was broken, top part was completely detached, then getting the keys from the safety key box was stiff and tricky to get out. Now for in the property, there was dog hairs on the rug, there was dog hairs on the shower mat, the shower drain wasn’t working properly as water kept building on the floor, the toilet was leaking, the beds we noticed had black hairs on the bedding, in the double bed there was some stains on the sheets and on the green pillow case, we found dog treat’s behind the chair in the living room and also a piece of mouldy bread (which I refused to touch myself). The fairy lights outside don’t work, also 3 days into the holiday the electricity completely went out, so we had no electricity or heating until the next morning, we had to sort it out with the parks maintenance team and electrician (who were amazing, I won’t fault them). The experience was horrible as I have a disabled son and a 8 year old daughter. My son is on medical equipment aswell. Also please be aware of the door stoppers as on the first day my mother kicked it and seriously hurt her foot resulting in her being unable to walk properly or in pain for the full holiday. Another thing, watch your head on the display cabinet above the telly, I banged my head on it pretty hard and my dad did the same two times.
Hi Carly, thank you for comments I will do my best to amend as many of the problems that I can John Walton owner Property Owner

"The caravan in its self is lovely, it was clean and comfortable."
The site is self is suited to older people rather than young family’s. The club house shuts very early and there was no entertainment. The caravan opposite displayed very strange behaviour! Parking their cars diagonally to stop people passing through the caravans and coming out regular to check all of their stones were in place, they must of been proud as one point the strange lady came out to take pictures of her parking! If you are looking to retire perfect holiday not so much for young families! Can not fault the caravan it’s self though it was lovely

"First impressions of the property were very good."
Welcoming. Lounge light and airey. Outdoor furniture a bonus. Couple of downfalls -Some of kitchen cutlery and crockery needed cleaning as dirty/used. Crumbs on dining table and chairs and bedside tables were dirty/stained from spilt drinks. This however did not stop us in having a lovely week.

"The caravan itself was clean and well equipped - the only thing missing that I would perhaps consider including was a mop (condensation from the toilet was dripping on the floor but we had no way to clean this up)."
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
mop and bucket were in the heating cupboard Property Owner

"Flooded bathroom found on arrival, notified owner, not interested."
Both toilets not cleaned, cooker greasy, crockery and cutlery grubby, no mattress protectors, hard animal faeces under bed. Generally not up to standard, would not recommend to anyone. Owner not interested. Disgraceful. Only too willing to take your money.

"The mattress on the double bed needs to be replaced It is so uncomfortable."
L was surprised to see there was no mattress Protection cover.l personally believe this should be a priority. The first aid box was on the top of a cupboard it was dirty looks like it Hadn’t been cleaned for months. It states on the inventory there is a washing machine. No washing machine.

A couple of miles north east of the town of Dawlish is Dawlish Warren, a mile-long sand beach at the mouth of the River Exe on the stretch of south Devon coastline known as the English Riviera. Dawlish Warren has a selection of shops selling essentials, a golf course and a 55-acre nature reserve, an area of international importance for wildlife, and a roosting site for huge numbers of wading birds and wildfowl that winter on the estuary. The Nature Reserve is also home to more than 450 species of flowering plants including the rare Warren or Sand Crocus. Guided tours around the Reserve are available in the summer season. The beach at Dawlish Warren is a sandy Blue Flag beach backed by sand dunes and small lakes and stretches for miles to reach the Exe Estuary in one direction and Dawlish town in the other. A safe beach, lifeguarded in summer, provides a perfect place for seaside fun, and has many free, open-air events, children's entertainers and spectacular firework and air displays during the summer season. Dawlish Warren has a railway station on the Exeter to Newton Abbot line, one of the most scenic railway journeys in the country. Nearby there is much to occupy the visitor along the English Riviera coastline including Paignton Zoo, the Dartmouth Steam Railway, the picturesque fishing harbour of Brixham and the long pier and promenade at Teignmouth.
