"More information about property's location as it was hilly."
Other than that the property was excellent.Would recommend

"Had a lovely week at the Link house Home from home Thanks so much for all your help and recommendations"

"We loved this beautiful & quirky Victorian house with its high ceilings and large rooms."
Bed was comfy and kitchen well kitted out. Convector heaters were useful for chillier evenings and the off road parking was a boon. Great location for walking into Torquay but be prepared for an uphill walk back! Unfortunately the WiFi connection was very flakey and we did feel the house could benefit from an end of season cleanup.

"We had a lovely week and the cottage was home from home."
The location was close to all the attractions. We would highly recommend.

"There were a few faults with the property the first being the sofa it was so uncomfortable to sit on and its definitely due an upgrade."
When hanging a towel on a hand rail in the main bedroom’s bathroom one side of the towel rail fell off as it wasn't attached. The bathroom itself need an extractor fan as there seems to be a build up of condensation, slight damp which shows the cracks that are appearing on the ceiling. The fan lights in both bedrooms need to be replaced or maybe firmly attached to the ceiling as they move and spin erratically which didn't seem safe to leave on. We also had to reattach the fan pull chain as it came off when turning the fan off. The main dinning table was very unstable so we had to wedge some cardboard under the leg so it was sturdy to eat on. I think the main thing for us personally was not being able to close the curtains it was far to bright in the rooms however the blinds served a good purpose for privacy but come early morning when the light broke through we were woken earlier than expected. However there was positives to property to it was very clean baring the smell of dog odour in the lounge area (which us to be expected being a dog friendly accommodation) we had access to all of the amenities to cook, clean and wash our clothes if need be with a wide selection of kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable, The property itself was spacious well decorated and it did feel homely. On a bonus the property its situated in the perfect location to Torquay town centre which is within walking distance and if you find those stairs which leads down to the middle of town centre it will shorten your journey considerably. Overall the holiday experience was a pleasant one and minor the the few things I stated above. i would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to be located in the perfect spot to have the peace and quiet during the night or day with many destinations that are only a short car/train journey away.
Thanks for your feedback - our guests are always the best judges of what improvements our property needs. During high season the property is only empty for a few hours each week and we try to prioritise refurbishments in that time slot. The towel rail has been fixed, and we are investigating the fans. I am very glad that you enjoyed your break in Torquay. Property Owner

"Lovely property with easy walking distance to the harbour and town."
On site Parking a real bonus.
Really glad you enjoyed your stay. Parking can be a problem in Torquay in the summer so we are glad to have some space to assign to our guests on the drive. Property Owner

"Every thing was great apart from seating area outside (dirty ) and WiFi hit and miss ,very good week, hope to go again"
I am sorry that the patio did not meet your needs. At this time of year the outside area is a constant battle with neighbouring evergreen trees and Wisteria dropping lots of leaves and petals. The area is cleaned and all leaves blown away every Friday, but fresh leaves drop as soon as I turn my back! Property Owner

"Property owners friendly, helpful and responsive (problem with toilet) Not an ideal property for accessability with wheelchair, mobility aid but other than this no issues at all."
Very light and spacious, extremely well equipped kitchen. Drive steep. And not ideal to. Park large vehicle (we have a van) but 3 spaces for the property lower down the drive Location is up a very steep hill so account for this if walking from town. (nature of the town though) I mention accessability as i use a mobility scooter and hill was too steep for it. Lovely place but not ideal for ua due to mobility issues unfortunately

"Nice place but picture shows parking directly outside property but is not."
Difficult for friend who’s disabled. Back yard smaller than expected for dog.

"This cottage is gorgeous."
It's very warm, cosy and very clean, set back from the road with its own parking. We stayed with our three young boys and dog and we all loved it. The place was spotless and very comfortable and the hosts were on hand to help when our kettle stopped working and we got a new one within minutes! I'd totally recommend this cottage.
We are so glad you enjoyed the cottage. We were very impressed by the way you braved the rainy days, and it will be a while before I forget one of your boys merrily singing as he walked down the drive. Great way to start the day. Property Owner

"Perfect accommodation for our break."
The property was well equipped and well looked after. It’s location was perfect for our needs. The welcome pack was much appreciated and the addition of treats for the dog was most thoughtful. Overall a lovely stay
Very pleased you and the family enjoyed your break. And that Torquay did not rain on you! Property Owner
