  • "Thank you for the lovely treats that you left for us."

You have a lovely home that worked extremely well for us overall. Everyone including the kids had a great time and loved the house. Although a little further from the beach than we would usually choose, it is super convenient for town, the train station and pretty much everywhere. Whilst not the peak time of year for it, the outside space was great, and as we had brought a couple of bikes, it was great to be able to store them in the shed out of the weather. Thanks for a great stay, we really enjoyed it.

  • "Beautifully kept and well equipped home in a very convenient location where you can walk into town, restaurants and supermarkets within a two to five- minute walk."

Only has one bathroom for three bedrooms but I still highly recommend this lovely home.

  • "Had a lovely stay at Keeling."

Really great location near the train station and a short walk to all amenities, beach, etc. The house was impeccably clean and comfortable, and had lots of nice little touches - we really enjoyed the bedtime story in the children's room! Would definitely stay again.

No major issues. Bathroom a little small,{ not your fault} Minor details Bathroom floor tiles in urgent need of re grouting. Toaster a bit poor.. A downstairs/outside WC would be a great asset. But only minor observations. Would reccomend to anyone

  • "The property was amazing , this was our 2nd visit and would most likely, return again."

Whilst we were there, we managed to break a glass. We called Sykes twice and left messages but no-one ever got back to us. Whilst it wasn't an urgent problem, a phone call back would have been appreciated. Luckily we had the cleaners number and dealt with it through her but this shouldn't have been the case.

  • "The cottage was very well furnished complete with everything you could need for a break away."

The bin was very amusing. Exceptionally clean and well equipped especially the kitchen. Lovely soft white towels. The tv unfortunately was stuck on subtitles, we tried everything to remove them. The back patio door could have a blind to close at night. We left a day early due to the weather but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very close to shops, restaurants and railway station. • "Thank you for a very relaxing, enjoyable stay."

It was a lovely home and felt very much 'at home' in it. The only downside was that we had travelled down in two cars (parents in one car, myself and my children in the other) and when we arrived the parking was somewhat very difficult. All week we had to keep looking to see if there was any space to park on the right hand side and at some times, there wasn't. So, then we had to park on the left side and watch for traffic wardens. The car park behind the train station was only a short stay one and very expensive! So that rally wasn't a option. I think maybe advertise this a bit better for potential customers when they book for Keeling. Other than this, it was lovely. Thank you again for letting us stay there

I’m glad you had an enjoyable stay and sorry to hear about the issues parking. Normally parking can be found on our road or one of the side roads. There is no parking on one side of the road but this can be used to unload and load your car. There is a long stay car park a 5 minute walk away behind the station. It costs £25 for a 7 day permit this can then be used in most East Devon car parks during that time. As of the 14th of August our road and those adjoining will be permit parking only and there will be a permit available for guests to use so if you decide to visit again then the permit will be available for you. Once again I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
