  • "We had a lovely week and would love to come back."

Very well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The owls woke me up - that's a positive!

Thank you for taking time to review your stay in Pond Meadow Cottage Jonathan. There are lots of barn and tawny owls here. We like to sit out of an evening enjoying the dark skies, stargazing and listening to the music of the night! As you know we're located in a tree-lined hollow and protected from the coast making Trenannick an ideal dwelling place for us to share. The harmony of coast and country all year round! Until next time, kind regards Jules and Nick Property Owner

  • "We spent two wonderful weeks at Pond Meadow Cottage in July 2023."

The cottage, which has enough room for up to six people, is very comfortable and cosy. It combines the charm of an old, timbered farm cottage with modern kitchen and bathroom amenities. We very much enjoyed using the fireplace in the living room on one rainy evening during our stay. The good wifi at the same time always ensured our family peace (we have got two teenage kids). The farm premises are spacious and with numerous flowers, trees, seeting areas, outside fireplaces and playground equipment contributed considerably to our sense of well-being during our stay. So did the numerous animals on Trenannick farm. We loved our regular encounters with the cats, chickens and alpacas that were all quite curious to find out who we were. Our biggest thanks, however, go to Jules and Nick who welcomed us so warmly and in a very discreet and unobtrusive way somehow managed always to be at hand when we either needed help or some inspiration for our daily trips through beautiful Cornwall. We will therefore always remember this family holiday as something very special and look forward to staying at one of the Trenanninck farm cottages again one day.

What an absolute pleasure to read your wonderful review and thank you so much! It was our privilege to help you discover some of the many delights of Cornwall. We're so glad that you found Pond Meadow Cottage comfortable for your stay and, that you enjoyed the beautiful grounds and animals. Our location means that you can easily travel to everywhere! With so much to see and do in Cornwall, we hope that you will stay again sometime in the future. In the meantime, take care and enjoy the memories made. • "This site offers ev charging."

It would be great if there was an EV filter on your search engine as this would encourage more electric vehicle users to venture into Cornwall and increase your eco credentials

Trenannick Farm Cottages

Set within a peaceful wooded hollow, just 5 miles from the stunning North Cornwall coast is Trenannick Farm. This charming group of 18th century stone built cottages are accessed via a beautiful long beech tree lined drive in a quiet, rural haven. The cottages have been furnished to a very good standard with many thoughtful touches provided by the friendly owners and have recently been awarded Gold status from Green Tourism. Relaxation comes naturally here; surrounded by birds and wildlife Trenannick provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life and provides the ideal location to make some glorious holiday memories. Children and adults alike will love meeting the alpacas Macchu, Cusco and Lima who will be glad to accompany them for a walk around the farm and also to collect eggs from the free-range chickens on the three acre estate. There is a large play area with children’s swings and slide, a sand boules pitch, mini pitch and putt, plus a copse to exercise your dog and for the children to play in. Whilst in the games room there is table tennis and a darts board so there is always something to entertain, even on those rainy day afternoons. An outside 'doggy wash' is a handy addition for rinsing muddy canine pals or sandy boards and wetsuits. Crackington Haven, which is popular with surfers is just 5 miles away, whilst nearby Bude is perfect for families with a choice of two sandy beaches (one dog friendly year round) and a tidal sea pool for swimming, it is the perfect choice for a sun soaked summer day and offers bracing walks in the cooler seasons. Walkers can easily join the coastal path, or alternatively, cycle or walk the famous Camel Trail, hike on Bodmin Moor, or explore the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel. Discovering Cornwall is easy from Trenannick Farm Cottages! After a day of adventures, why not gather around the fire pit or BBQ area where you can listen for owls and roast marshmallows into the evening and with zero light pollution the stars are simply amazing. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 24 guests.
