8 Customer Reviews

  • "Kitchen was not clean on arrival - soaking wet sponge, mouldy wooden dish drainer, greasy pans and oven, rust in pans."

Sofa and kitchen caters up to 4. Only 1 small saucepan. Property is great and in great location. Just needs to think of the guest experience.

Sorry, you felt the barn wasn't up to your standard, however, we did offer to send the cleaners back when you complained but you declined. We do pride ourselves on cleanliness and our responsiveness as can be seen in previous guest reviews. Property Owner

Located within Bodmin Moor and a scenic drive away from the sea, this property offers the best of a nature-filled and seaside holiday for families, groups and furry-friends.

Be welcomed into a stylishly-decorated home with stone wall accents and rustic wooden furnishings; in the open-plan space you'll find a spacious kitchen with ample counter and hob space for those large family feasts, enjoy it all around the dining table, then cuddle up with your loved ones in the sitting room for family movie night.

Open up the patio doors and make use of the seating areas in the rear garden during those warmer months, watch the kids and dogs run around the vast lawn or pour yourselves a glass of wine for a late night chat on the bench swing.

Ready yourself for a day of exploring Cornwall as wash up in either bathroom before slipping between soft sheets to get some rest.

Venture out of your home away from home to pick up some essentials at the nearby village shop or if you don't feel like cooking, head to The Kings Head Hotel for a classic and hearty pub meal.

Get to know the local town of Launceston and visit the 1200s English Heritage sit Launceston Castle, head over to Lawrence House, a museum with exhibits on the town's history and for a more thrilling activity, go to Trethorne Leisure Park where you'll find a climbing wall, a bowling alley, a farm with pony rides and more.

Drive down to Bodmin, a town steeped in fascinating history and visit Bodmin Jail an 18th-century prison museum with exhibitions and overnight ghost walks, hikers you'll love a nature walk in Cardinham Woods with its vibrant greenery, wildlife and a forested valley, then end the day with a well-deserved feast at the family-friendly Callywith Table Table.
