  • "The cottage was well thought out and very comfortable."

Thank you to Sharon for the lovely cake and biscuits you left and for the tea/coffee/sugar and milk, that was so kind of you. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very welcome. The only thing that might be helpful is if the entrance to the cottage from the main road could possibly be made clearer as it was difficult to judge where to turn off in the dark. It certainly wouldn't put us off from staying there again though :-)

Sunny garden conducive with eating out. Great field adjacent to the property for dog walking but watch out for the deer. Location is good for exploring North Devon. Attentive hosts made us feel very welcome.

  • "When we arrived at Ridge Cottage the owners had left us lovely cake and biscuits which was a really nice touch."

Ridge Cottage was very clean and the bed was sooo comfortable. Great facilities, everything was thought about. So quiet at night which was great for a good night’s sleep. It’s in an excellent location as it’s central to a lot of beauty spots. We had lots of fantastic walks with my dog, all within easy reach of the cottage.

Thanks for your feedback Harriet. Glad to hear Brillo had fun on the walks too. Do come again. Property Owner

  • "We had everything we needed."

The directions to the cottage were clear, parking (for one car) was close and easy. Sharon ( owner) warned us about the water pressure and Internet - we found the water pressure was fine for showering, WiFi in main rooms was fine apart from high def streaming (no issues with iPlayer). The beds were comfortable and the nature of the house meant that we had no trouble sleeping on the warmest day of the year. Clean, convenient and welcoming - this was perfect for us. Make sure you go outside on clear nights because there is almost no light pollution.

Thanks for choosing us and we'd be delighted to see you again. Best Wishes. Property Owner

. tastefully decorated , well equipped and very comfortable …..( also spotlessly clean ) . It was situated with easy access to the resorts of North Devon , our favourite being Lynton / Lynmouth . An ideal holiday cottage for pet owners with a small enclosed front garden and an adjacent field with a pathway all round ideal to exercise the dog .
