• "Light & modern furniture enhanced the apartment, in the well restored building."

  Parking included was a must for us, the allocated spot was perfect. The apartment had everything we needed apart from a brolly. Our fault for forgetting one I know. It is a beautiful walk into town with lovely views. Being able to check in from 3 o’clock was great. Maybe an option for a paid basic food pack for arrival could be considered for bread, orange juice, butter.

• "We stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks."

  It was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We hardly used the car there are so many walks nearby. The walk into town is approximately 10 minutes. We would definitely recommend the apartment and will return. Many thanks Pauline and Ray.

• "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

  The property was very clean and tidy - bedding in particular was immaculate. Decoration is contemporary and generally the property was a delightful place to stay. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and will stay again in the future.

• "The property is of a very high standard, very clean and contemporary."

  There was everything you needed at the apartment. The location is good, a 10-15 minute stroll into Dartmouth, lovely views along the way. Dartmouth is beautiful with lots of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. Would highly recommend the property, one of the best we have stayed in. Thank you, we had a fabulous week away.

• "A really fantastic apartment which had an amazing wow factor that never went away."

  Apartment was spacious, well equipped and furnished really nicely, had everything we could ask for Location was fab, River Dart on our doorstep, Dartmouth Castle a very short walk away and we did the walk into town a few times. • "We’ve just returned from a week at this property."

  It is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. We really couldn’t fault it and would definitely come again. We could easily walk into the town or out to the castle. Would recommend a visit to Coleton Fishacre just a short drive after crossing on the ferry. Beautiful house and acres of gardens to explore. Just one tiny thing - a few pasta bowls would have been very useful!

• "The apartment is in a fantastic location!"

  A short walk into the town, and the ferry ports. The addition of a parking space is fantastic and we even managed to park our second car on the hill each day with no issue. The apartment has all the facilities you could need if you wanted to cook while there, we did a few times so our baby could sleep in his cot. Bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are good, trying to get the temperature of the bath was the only issue we had but that was totally user error haha! We had a small issue with the heated towel rails not turning off but after emailing the hosts they shorted it within minutes! What more could you ask for! Would 100% stay again.

• "We have had many holidays in Dartmouth."

  (since late 70’s) sharing it with now our third generation, we highly recommend The pottery, it was our second stay there over past 3 years on different levels ,there are stairs to think about but you get used to climbing in Devon, we like the idea of not having to drive to town,( it’s a short & scenic walk), or you can use the lovely ferry, up the road near The Castle, if you like photography & walks, this is the place.

• "Lovely apartment, comfortable in a great position for walking into Dartmouth."

  Parking space a great bonus. A little attention to cleaning in main bathroom (ie under toilet. ) If we return to Dartmouth we would book again. Thanks for the cider , bread, butter and milk.

• "The Pottery is a wonderful development which we have stayed at previously."

  Great position and great parking. No 9 is a beautiful and contemporary apartment (Think Show Home + standard!!). It is spotless clean and is fitted with absolutely everything you will need. The attention to detail by the owner in this place is really incredible. The welcome pack was not expected but a really nice touch. Would go back in an instant.

• "Really lovely place which was well equipped with everything needed, particularly the kitchen which is very unusual for a holiday let."

  Great location with a bonus of a parking space. We brought our 3 month old baby with us and other than there was no lift which was not a problem we felt it was completely comfortable and suitable for all of us. It was lovely and quiet and we enjoyed the walks either way from the property each day. We would definitely come back and stay in this property again.

  Shower screen or curtain in bathroom or even better, a proper shower , otherwise we loved the property Great location, wonderfully appointed , very comfortable accommodation which we highly recommend, the only complaint being that the only shower is in the en suite room, so not convenient when two couples share the apartment

We agree a second shower would be useful however as this is a Grade 2 listed building, we’ve been advised by a plumber it would extremely difficult to retrofit drainage and ventilation systems.   Of all the holiday lets we have stayed in this one has been by far the best! Absolutely beautiful apartment. Great location with the added bonus of parking! • "Really beautiful apartment with lots of quality furnishings and furniture in it."

  It felt like the place had only just been kitted out. All very tasteful and a cut above the usual standard of holiday home. We much preferred this beautiful spot on the creek to staying in the centre of Dartmouth and enjoyed strolling to the castle every morning for a coffee and a scone to enjoy the incredible views. Highly recommended - we will be booking here again next year!

• "We felt the comfort of the sofa, quite lacking."

  The frying pan was not flat bottomed to suit the induction hob and did not appear to have a lid. I think the bathroom bins should have lids. I feel that sanitary products etc should not be on show. The mattress protector needs changing on the double bed! Other than the above points, the apartment is superb.
