"Lovely comfortable cottage with everything we needed"
-
"Treetops was absolutely lovely."
The views were amazing. The kitchen was beautiful. We instantly wanted to book again ! but unfortunately the mattresses let it down for us. Too soft and no support, I appreciate everyone has their own preference but imo they need replacing. Truly gutted as we would loved to have returned.

Lovely well equipped property with stunning view which made for a very enjoyable stay, even on days when the weather wasn’t kind

"The only difficulty was no shower in the second bathroom which meant sharing the other bathroom or struggling out of the high bath."
All the other facilities were great.
-
"Tĥe property was outstanding with fantastic views of the river fowey."
It was clean and everything you could possibly need was provided. We were very comfortable and wished we could have spent more time there.

Lovely property, shame about building noise from adjoining property which meant that when the weather was nice we could not really use the outside area
-
"The property location and view are lovely."
So relaxing. The new sun loungers were very welcome this year with the fantastic weather. We had another fantastic stay and we have already booked again for next year. Thank you
-
"Delighted with the accommodation - spacious, comfortable and pleasant, very light and a lovely view."
Only drawback was being on a steep hill which is difficult if you have mobility problems, but well worth a stay.
-
"Wonderful cottage with absolutely everything we needed for our stay."
Comfortable, roomy and accessible for older, less mobile visitors. Well equipped. Perfect outdoor space with ever changing views over the river. Ideal location with lots of local places to visit. Very helpful owner … thank you Pat!
-
"We had a great week staying at Treetops, the house as pristine and comfortable as the last time we stayed four years ago with a generous welcome pack."
Beautiful views over the river and despite not the best weather, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony several mornings in the sun. Had a lovely Sunday roast in the Fisherman's Arms down the hill, very friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will stay again. (Four year gap due to Covid cancellation s)

"Both myself and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treetops."
The view is so beautiful and the house very comfortable. Thank you Pat for making our stay so pleasant.
-
"A fabulous property in an ideal location to explore Cornwall."
The view from Tree Tops is wonderful and there are all the facilities you need in the bungalow. Golant is a lovely village and the Fisherman’s Arms does excellent food. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in and have rebooked for next year.
-
"When we arrived at Treetops, we were overwhelmed by the tranquility of Golant and the beautiful views overlooking the creek and the river from the property!"
Treetops was everything we wanted for our holiday. It was lovely and clean and the kitchen was very well equipped and of course the views were to die for from the kitchen, lounge and two double bedrooms. The village of Golant is very quaint and the village pub The Fishermas Inn, serves lovely food and overlooks the creek and river and has a very large garden with plenty of seating. It’s best not to leave your car on the road in front of the pub at high tide, because it is likely to flood. It is only a very short walk from Treetops to the pub, but it’s very steep and I am disabled and couldn’t manage the walk unfortunately ☹️ We can definitely recommend Treetops and hopefully will come back for another holiday there if finances and health allow!
-
"This was our second visit to Treetops this year, we love the bungalow, the village, the pub and the whole area."
We have booked again for next year so that shows how much we enjoy it.
-
"The bungalow was absolutely fantastic, very spacious and nice and clean."
Didn't want for anything while we were there. The view is amazing, just sat with my morning cup of tea watching the boats on the river was just wonderful, I am going to miss that view. I really can't find any fault with my stay at treetops, cornwall is a lovely part of the country and I look forward to going back one day.

"The location was excellent, great view just as per listing, pub fantastic a 2 minute walk from the property."
Parking good fro property once you get used to the narrow roads. Ideal place for visiting Eden project, Lost gardens of Heligan and other tourist attractions. Fowey really lovely not far away once you get used to parking and waling the steep steps. Property had everything you needed for a holiday, things that could be improved would be a place to eat out on the decking, the sofa in the living room has seen better days really uncomfortable as was the bed in the main bedroom. One if us ended up sleeping in the spare room, as mattress too uncomfortable. The fridge door also needs addressing, as a note saying shut the door is fine, but I am sure could be fixed quite easily. Those things never spoilt the holiday, however would be good to address for future guests. Still would recommend visiting.

"A very well equipped and comfortable property."
The kitchen was fantastic and we enjoyed many meals on the patio overlooking the river below. Having two bathrooms was a bonus for a family stay. Once you've got the hang of the very narrow roads in the village, a relaxing holiday is assured.
-
"What a fabulous accommodation, the views were amazing and the home was very well appointed."
The local pub is well worth a visit, the woodland walk to Fowey is quite a challenge. A couple of minor issues dealt with immediately by the owner Pat..10/10!!
-
"Probably the best equipped self catering accommodation I've stayed in."
Wonderful views. Very quiet and peaceful - you could hear a pin drop in the evenings. The local pub is friendly and only 2 min walk. Only 15 mins from The Eden Project. It was so good, I have booked again for next June!
-
"Treetops exceeded our expectations in every way, a very spacious bungalow with beautiful views."
well furnished and equipped with all anyone could possibly need for a good holiday. The stylish kitchen was my favourite, nothing was missing and once again beautiful views. Our only problem was the TV in the lounge it was very hit and miss, sometimes it worked first time and sometimes it didn't and several times it came on again after we had gone to bed so we switched it off at the plug. We loved the place so much that we have booked Treetops again for October, lets hope for a new TV!
-
"Fabulous house in a great setting."
Well equipped, clean and comfortable. One of the best we have stayed in so much so we have booked again for October.
-
"Excellent property, view from the terrace is wonderful."
We had a great time.
-
"Tree tops did not disappoint!"
! Beautiful accommodation, with everything anyone could need .we did think a hot tub on the patio was something that would have made it perfection with such stunning views. But we would definitely return!
-
"The house was absolutely perfect."
Beautifully equipped and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for more
-
"Superb accommodation."
Great situation (once you get used to the access roads!). Very clean and comfortable. Very well equipped with everything you'll need. All you want is good weather.
-
"What a great find ."
Such a beautiful home in a picturesque village . The views are to die for the pictures really dont do it justice . The local pub 1 min walk away is great , honest home cooked food and good selection of local ale and gins etc . The kitchen has everything and more than you would ever need. Village is so peaceful all you here is birds song all day and with fowey just a 45 min or so walk away threw some lovley woods and x2 nice beeces 10 min dive away this really is the perfect spot to just chill / switch off for a week. Thanks for having us I would 100% return one day fab place .
-
"Absoloutley beautiful stay at treetops in Golant, Cornwall."
very clean and amazing views, brilliant for price and a generally wonderful stay in a quaint little village. We will definitley look at staying in again in the future.
-
"I can really recommend staying at Treetops."
We stayed in Oct 20 so the village was lovely and quiet and even with some Oct rain we got some great walks in. The views of the river are great and I can only imagine what fantastic evenings you could have outside sipping a glass of wine on the decking in the summer months. I personally loved the kitchen extremely well appointed and very light and airy. We would love to revisit which for us is an indication of how much we enjoyed staying as we generally always choice different places to stay. WRT COVID the house was spotless
-
"Brilliant. Just posted on Tripadvisor."
Feel free to use.
-
"The kitchen was one of the best equipped we have stayed in."
It had everything you could think of and included a generous supply of all cleaning products for the kitchen and bathrooms. I have not given full marks for facilities as 2 of the bedrooms lacked dressing tables.
-
"We didn’t want to leave!"
Such a lovely location- view from windows even better than the photos. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. 2 teens and 2 adults all happy
-
"Lovely quiet location ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding ."
lovely walks through the woods to Fowley. cottage was well equipped and clean meet with all Covid-19 rules . Locals very friendly and helpful . Pub was great did lovely local Cider, (Rattler) and food .
-
"Perhaps it would be worth mentioning in the particulars that the road leading down into Golant is very narrow, and the even narrower leading up to the cottage, wasn't a problem to me, but could be to someone with a large 4x4 vehicle."
Also the grill in the Belling cooker does't appear to reach a higher enough temperature to cook anything, otherwise, it's a magical cottage with stunning views, and I would certainly book it again.
-
"We had a super holiday in Cornwall and Treetops was pivotal to this."
Super views, easy access to Fowey and lovely coastal walks. Even went onto North coast as well. Hidden Valley Gardens were a gem a few miles out of Golant. Excellent kayaking club 100 m away. Would certainly recommend Treetops, it was peaceful, private and very clean and comfortable.
-
"The location was perfect."
...the accommodation light and very comfortable We were made to feel extremely welcome by the locals in what is a relatively unchanged village plenty of lovely walks and lots of places to visit within the radius of a few miles
-
"We loved staying at Treetops."
It was so peaceful and we never tired of the beautiful view of the river Fowey. The cottage itself was beautiful, very spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and we loved the welcome hamper including French butter, cherry scones, a loaf of bread, a pint of whole milk and a bottle of rose wine. It was a lovely touch. Having good wifi and laundry facilities were also a great bonus! We'd definitely stay again.
-
"Lovely bright and airy cottage with fabulous views over the River Fowey."
The cottage was very well equipped, very comfortable and warm. A very generous welcome pack was provided. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return.
-
"As soon as we arrived at Treetops we felt instantly relaxed."
It was lovely and spacious and had wonderful views of the estuary. The whole apartment was well equipped and really comfortable. We will deifinately be going back
-
"Fantastic location, fabulous facilities however, the master bedroom with the TV in could benefit from a new mattress and the bedding is getting a bit tired (Bobbly), but this did not distract from our wonderful stay and we will definitely return again, the place is wonderful."

-
"Wow from the moment we arrived till we left we had an smazing holiday."
The view was outstanding and the cottage well equipped. Just 1 point would benefit from an outdoor bbq as this is often how we cook when we are on holiday.
-
"Fantastic location - a totally relaxing break."
Cottage spacious and clean with wonderful views across the river. The village was very friendly. It was amazing how fast we got used to the narrow roads. Would totally recommend kayaking down the river and local walks.
